“The Wonderful World of Disney: Holiday Spectacular” airs on ABC and marks the 10th anniversary of the broadcast. For those unable to watch it on ABC tonight, it will be available to stream on Hulu and Disney+ the next day.
If you’re tuning in, there will be performances from talented musicians and celebrities, including Bebe Rexha, Lady A, DWTS alum Nicole Scherzinger, Good Charlotte, Gwen Stefani, Trisha Yearwood, and “Dancing with the Stars” former pro and current judge, Derek Hough, will be taking on the role of host!
Hough shared his thoughts in an emotional Instagram post on December 1. He posted several photos to give a glimpse at what the broadcast will include and to generate excitement. The pictures include one of him standing next to Mickey Mouse, as well as photos of him dancing and smiling.
“From being a kid in awe at Disney to now creating shows that bring families together with joy, song, and dance, and create feel-good, family-centered entertainment,” he wrote in the caption. “Hosting this holiday special is just another dream come true, and I’m so grateful to share this magic with everyone. Tonight 8/7c on @abc.”
The performances will be filmed at multiple Disney resorts in the United States. They are from Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, Disneyland Resort in California, and the Disney Resort & Spa in Ko Olina in Hawaii.

A clip of the show and what to expect was posted on the official ABC Instagram, allowing fans to share their thoughts on the lineup. “Celebrate the magic of this holiday TONIGHT with artists like @GwenStefani, @LadyA, @AloeBlacc, @GoodCharlotteBand, and more!” the caption of the video reads. “Don’t miss The #DisneyHolidaySpectacular at 8/7c on ABC, and stream tomorrow on @Hulu and @DisneyPlus! @Disneyland @WaltDisneyWorld @DisneyAulani.”
“So excited to watch!!” a comment reads. “So excited and can’t wait to watch @gwenstefani perform!” another person shared. Stefani also reacted to the video with a white heart and a snowflake emoji, and her fans cannot wait to watch her perform.
