Speaking to Us Weekly, Sluss shared, “I would just say, enjoy it because I feel like she’s really going to take off and have so many fun opportunities.”
She continued, “I cannot wait to watch her on TV. I haven’t watched the show in a few years, but seeing her, I’m such a fan of her. I love how authentic she is, and I think she’s really going to bring in the views. So I would just say, enjoy it, because I know she’s going to do such a great job, and have so many people support her.”
Sluss also believes that Paul will be “very confident” as she embarks on this new journey. Fans already know Paul isn’t shy about sharing her love life on “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” or raising three kids as a single mom, two with ex-husband Tate Paul and one with ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen.

GettySluss will certainly be tuning in and watching Paul as “The Bachelorette” when it premeres on March 22, 2026, but she won’t be watching it alone. On November 20, she and husband Jake Funk welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Lucas James Funk, who’ll be joining her for all the viewing fun.
In a Nov. 25 Instagram post introducing their son, the couple shared the story behind his name, Lucas James.
“His name lived in our hearts long before we ever met him. Lucas was chosen in Cabo San Lucas, the place where we got engaged. 🤍 James is for Jake’s dad—a piece of him now gets to live on through our son🕊️,” the post was captioned.
Sluss has shared several life moments as a new mom on Instagram, including showcasing Lucas’ adorable nursery and how the couple is adjusting to parenthood.
Speaking with Us Weekly on Dec. 8, Sluss touchingly shared that the most rewarding thing about being a mom was “extending our family. This is our first grandchild on both my and my husband’s side, so being able to see our son with his grandparents has been like the greatest joy.”
Earlier in the interview, Sluss also shared just how “much more appreciation” she now has for mothers after welcoming her son. “I really have enjoyed it,” she said of motherhood.
