Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky are continuing to navigate their post-split dynamic, and a new preview for “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” season 15 shows the former couple having one of their most candid conversations yet. In the clip, Richards visits Umansky’s newly leased home in the Hollywood Hills for the first time, sparking a mix of nostalgia, tension, and surprising honesty about where they stand today.
Kyle Richards Reacts to Mauricio Umansky’s New House
Richards arrives at the house with a hug and a kiss on the cheek before taking in the space. “Oh, this is nice,” Richards says, to which Umansky replies, “This is your first time at the house.” After walking inside, she adds, “Oh wow, this is beautiful.”
Richards brings him fresh towels — a playful callback to Umansky once questioning why he needed so many when he “uses one.” She then pulls out makeup remover towels and clarifies that they are for their daughters, not for any of his “friends.” Fans will have to watch the video to hear what Richards actually called his “friends.”
Richards then expresses her frustration that Umansky moved from his high-rise condo into the Hollywood Hills home without informing her. She says the decision “brings them further away from the conversation” about “potentially fixing things in the future.”
The moment grows more uncomfortable when Umansky asks whether Richards has gone on any dates. She answers, “No, I’m single,” before adding, “You know I would not be in a situation like you, sorry to say.”
Richards later acknowledges she has gone on dates since the separation but says she can remain “private and discreet, unlike Mau.”
Mauricio Umansky’s Dating Life and Family Reactions in RHOBH Season 15
Throughout the December 4 premiere, Richards opened up about how their daughters have handled Umansky’s single life. In a confessional, she reveals, “Mau moved out of his bachelor pad condo and rented a house in Beverly Hills.” Richards notes that Portia, 17, spends the night there “sometimes,” while Sophia, 25, visits less frequently.
Her older daughters, Farrah, 36, and Alexia, 29, also discuss their father’s transition. “When Mau and I first started having problems, we didn’t tell the girls,” Richards tells a producer. “Obviously, they felt a shift. When everything blew up, they said, ‘We need you to be honest with us.’”
Richards also addresses the paparazzi photos of Umansky with the women he has dated. “The first time I saw a photo of Mau, it was shocking; I was taken aback,” she says. “But I’m a little desensitized now, unfortunately. Of course, he’s allowed to do what he wants… I just wish that he would be a little more discreet.”
Later in the episode, Dorit Kemsley discusses her own split and suggests Paul “PK” Kemsley may be mirroring Umansky, “living his best life.” When asked how she feels seeing photos of Umansky kissing other women, Richards admits, “The first time… it was shocking. But now, I’ve seen a few.”
