Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky have been separated since 2023, but that didn’t stop them from recently linking up to celebrate a friend’s birthday. While the estranged couple may for the most part be living separate lives, they often are spotted together with their four children.
This time around, they were celebrating Tina Chen Craig’s birthday, and actress Bijou Philips shared some of the fun on Instagram.
Kyle and Mauricio Share a Night Out With Friends and Family
BravoWhile Kyle stayed quiet about the evening, Bijou Philips posted a photo to her Instagram stories, celebrating Tina Chen Craig. In the snap, Tina and Bijou are seated on a couch next to Kyle’s nieces, Nicky and Paris Hilton. Kyle stood behind them, wearing a black lace dress, next to her daughters, Farrah Aldjufrie and Alexia Umansky. Mauricio is seen standing behind Kyle.
“Sexy Birthday Tina!” Bijou wrote in the photo, tagging Kyle, Paris, Nicky, and Farrah.
Kyle Is Proud of How Her Family Has Navigated the Split

While Kyle and Mauricio’s arrangement has seemed strange to many, including her “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” castmates, she insists that the prolonged separation works well for them.
She appeared on an Amazon Live stream on July 21 and discussed the separation and how it has impacted her entire family. “I’m really proud of how we are navigating through this separation. We’re great friends, and we love our daughters. We built a beautiful family, and it’s nice to know that even though we’re separated, we can keep it that way. It’s been helpful to my daughters, too, to get through this.”
The two are obviously living apart now, and seemingly dating other people. They are finally even discussing selling their family home. But they also make it a point to link up to celebrate the holidays and other important milestones.
Kyle has also supported Mauricio’s work as founder and CEO of The Agency. She has shared photos of herself at The Agency’s Hamptons office, tagging the business itself, rather than her ex.
