Beloved actor Jeffrey Garcia, best known for his voice work on Nickelodeon’s “Jimmy Neutron,” has passed away. This comes after the actor suffered multiple health complications that recently led to him being hospitalized. He was 50.
Multiple members of Garcia’s family confirmed to TMZ that he was pronounced dead on December 10 after being taken off life support at a California hospital. They also shared that family and friends surrounded him when he passed.
Sources also told the outlet that Garcia’s health complications had been ongoing. For example, the comedian suffered a brain aneurysm in the spring. TMZ also learned that he had a stroke several weeks before his passing.
Jeffrey Garcia Leaves Behind an Impressive Legacy
Garcia began his career in Hollywood in 1995, appearing on NBC’s “Caroline in the City.” The following year, he was cast in two episodes of “Dangerous Minds.” However, his biggest claim to fame came when he began playing the role of Sheen Estevez in the “Jimmy Neurton” franchise in 2001.
In additon to “Neutron,” Garcia also provided his voice to “Clone High,” “Nickmas,” “ChalkZone,” and various video games. His later career included films and TV shows such as “Happy Feet” and “Rio”. Garcia remained active until his passing, having appeared on a 2025 episode of “Comics Unlashed.”
Additionally, according to IMDb, he was set to reprise his role as Sheen Estevez in an untitled “Jimmy Neutron” project.

Garcia accomplished quite a bit throughout his career and managed to remain relevant in his field. Because of this, many of his fans are flocking to social media to pay tribute to his legacy. For starters, many are simply saying on X, “RIP Jeffrey Garcia.”
Adam Hunter, a fellow comedian, said, “RIP Jeff Garcia. Gone way too soon. Such a talented comedian. One of the best.”
