The project promises an inside look at Cowell’s next chapter, both professionally and personally.
Lauren and Simon, who met in 2004 while vacationing in Barbados, got engaged on Christmas Eve 2021 after nearly two decades together. The couple shares one son, Eric, 11, while Lauren also has a son, Adam, 19, from her previous marriage to real estate entrepreneur Andrew Silverman.
A Relationship That Changed Everything

Their relationship eventually turned romantic, and in 2013, the pair publicly confirmed they were expecting their first child together.
For Cowell, fatherhood was a turning point. Speaking to Kelly Clarkson, he recalled, “From that moment I saw the scan, I was like, ‘That is it, I’m besotted.’ Now I just cannot imagine my life without him. He’s the most amazing thing that ever happened to me.”
Inside Their Engagement & Wedding Plans
The couple’s engagement took place in Barbados, where they first met. Lauren’s engagement ring reportedly features a 20-carat oval diamond, estimated to be worth a small fortune, given Cowell’s net worth of $600 million.
As for their upcoming wedding, Cowell teased during “America’s Got Talent” Season 18 that the big day will be an intimate affair. “I am planning it all, otherwise I know what will happen – there will be 600 people and it’ll get out of control, like my 50th birthday party,” he joked. “No one knows when it’s going to be – that’ll be a surprise, even for Lauren.”
In an earlier interview with People in 2023, Cowell described wedding planning as “easy,” explaining that after years together, they want to keep things simple and meaningful.
