“The Amazing Race” is keeping things fast, funny, and downright chaotic in Bucharest as Season 38 continues. Tonight (November 11, 2025) Episode 8, “Oh Egg, Where Art Thou,” airs at 9:30pm ET on CBS, streaming next day on Paramount+.
Yep, the teams are still hustling through Romania. But this week, the pressure’s through the roof because it’s officially the last chance to use those Express Passes.
Who is Left in ‘The Amazing Race’ Season 38?
At this point, six teams are left still fighting for that million-dollar finish line: Tucker & Eric, Jas & Jag (Express Pass), Joseph & Adam, Kyland & Taylor (Express Pass), Izzy & Paige, Jack & Chelsie
CBSWARNING: Beyond this point, this post contains spoilers for “The Amazing Race” Season 38, Episode 8.
The Final Express Pass Showdown
A sneak peek posted to Instagram on November 11 shows Tucker & Eric tackling a Detour involving decorated eggs and a man in a chicken costume (odd, but okay). Tucker tells Eric to “hurry up,” because Jas & Jag have already used their Express Pass and are flying ahead. The tension’s real, the stakes are higher than ever, and honestly, this might be one of the most entertaining episodes yet.
There’s no word yet on if Kyland & Taylor use their Express Pass. But, let’s be real; it would be absolutely wild for them to just sit on a chance to skip a challenge and let that pass expire.
Another Instagram slideshow dropped earlier today showing glimpses of a dance challenge, a musical task, and some truly confused contestants trying to figure it all out. Because what’s “The Amazing Race” without at least one moment where everyone’s like, “wait, what are we supposed to do again?”
Who’s Thriving and Who’s Barely Hanging On
After last week’s leg, Izzy & Paige and Jack & Chelsie are still fighting to stay alive in the competition. Both pairs have been skating close to the back lately. Jack & Chelsie have had their fair share of disagreements about how to handle challenges. And that could hurt their chances of staying in the Race in the long run.
Meanwhile, Izzy & Paige have been struggling to keep up with the other teams overall. Still, it seems like they’ve learned to keep calm under pressure. They took on the sewing challenge over the brick-making one in Episode 7, which might’ve just saved them.
Joseph & Adam, meanwhile, continue to hold steady in the middle of the pack. They’ve had some minor hiccups along the way, but they’ve been consistent, staying focused without letting the chaos throw them off. That calm energy could be their secret weapon heading into tonight’s episode.
Episode 8: Oh Egg, Where Art Thou
Personal Predictions: It seems like Izzy & Paige have a bit more of their act together. They’ve landed in 3rd place twice already, so they clearly know how to keep pace. Jack & Chelsie, on the other hand, seem kind of scattered; they get lost or slowed down a lot, and honestly, it’s been holding them back. They haven’t even cracked the Top 4 once this season. Yep, unless something totally unexpected happens, it feels like Jack & Chelsie might be leaving the Race behind this week.
But as we know, anything can happen on “The Amazing Race.” One wrong turn, one missed clue, or one badly timed dance move could flip everything upside down in seconds. And as the teams face their final chance to use Express Passes and take on a mix of cultural, creative, and downright tricky challenges in Bucharest, it’s clear that every decision matters now more than ever.
Who’s going to race their way to the top… and who’s about to meet Phil on the mat for the last time? Tune in to “The Amazing Race” tonight at 9:30pm ET on CBS to find out.
