Express Passes on ‘The Amazing Race
While the teams make their way to Bucharest tonight on “The Amazing Race” season 38, we know that the Express Passes must be used by this leg of the race. Jas & Jag and Kyland & Taylor are the two teams with an Express Pass, so can they use it tonight to get ahead of Tucker & Eric, who continued their domination by winning last week’s leg of the race?

November 12 Live Recap – Week 8

Staying in Romania
Tucker & Eric, who are on a four-leg winning streak, kick things off tonight. The teams will be heading to a park in Bucharest and will not be able to use a taxi until further notice. The Express Passes have to be used tonight.
Tucker & Eric get to the first clue, which is a Road Block. The teams will have to go on an egg hunt and find an egg that matches the big ceramic eggs. Once they find the egg that matches the giant egg, they will roll the giant egg to an eggspert to get verified.
The other teams all take off, and there isn’t that much time between the teams. Eric is searching for the egg, as Jas & Jag arrive. They decide to use their Express Pass, as it’s a matter of luck in finding the egg. Jas & Jag head out to the next clue.
Shortly after Jas & Jag head out, Eric finds an egg and gets it checked. It is correct, so they head to the next location. They both race to the train, which Tucker & Eric get on, but Jas & Jag do not.
Kyland & Taylor and Joseph & Adam are working together on this leg. They get to the Road Block, and we see Kyland and Adam working together to find the eggs. Jack & Chelsie are struggling with navigational issues, as Izzy & Paige get to the Road Block first. Izzy starts working on the Road Block.
An Egg Hunt
We now have all four of the remaining teams at the Road Block, as Chelsie joined in the fun. Kyland wants to hold off on the Express Pass, but if two teams get done first, then they’ll be forced to use it.
Meanwhile, Tucker & Eric get to the next clue, which is a Detour. They can choose between Find the Beat, which has them learning a dance, or Hit the Note, which has them putting together a pan flute and then play a tune on “The Amazing Race” 2025.
Tucker & Eric choose to do Hit the Note. Izzy is the first to find the egg, so they are moving on. Kyland then finds an egg, so they are out of there also. It took Chelsie two attempts, but she found the egg, and they headed out. Adam is struggling to find an egg on his own now.
Jas & Jag get to the Detour, and they choose Find the Beat. Meanwhile, we have Izzy & Paige, Kyland & Taylor, and Jack & Chelsie all on the same train to the Detour clue. Adam finally found the egg, so they head to the train for the Detour.
Pan Flutes on ‘The Amazing Race’
We see Tucker & Eric arrive at the Detour, as they start working on building their pan flutes. Jas & Jag get to their Detour, as they start learning their dance, which is a traditional Romanian folk dance. They get the proper attire on and start learning the choreography.
Tucker & Eric have their pan flutes built, so they head out to learn the song. They will each have two lines of music to play, switching back and forth between each other.
Kyland & Taylor get to the Detour and want to do the closest one, so they can use their Express Pass. Jack & Chelsie and Izzy & Paige get to the Detour, and both are doing Hit the Note. Izzy said she gets paid to play the flute. Meanwhile, Jack & Chelsie seem to have gotten bad directions and will be taking a bus to get to the Detour.
Jas & Jag and Tucker & Eric are both trying to get their Detour done, but failing each attempt. On the fourth attempt, Jas & Jag get their dance approved, and they head out to the next clue. It took them six attempts, but Tucker & Eric get their music approved and head to the next clue.
Lost Again
Jack & Chelsie are lost, yet again. They finally ask for directions, and now they are told to take the train. They are frustrated, as they ran around town for one hour. Jack & Chelsie finally get on a bus, as Kyland & Taylor get to the Detour. They use their Express Pass and head out to the next clue.
Tucker & Eric get to the next clue first. This challenge has them making 10 mici each, a Romanian sausage. Once done cooking them, they have to each consume one of the mici. They try for approval, but do not have them right. Jas & Jag arrive and start working on the mici also.
On the third attempt, Tucker & Eric get their mici approved. They then each eat one and get the next clue. This one has them heading to the Pit Stop, so will they win their fifth straight leg? Jas & Jag then got their mici approved. They quickly eat the mici and head out to the Pit Stop. Who will get there first? Jas & Jag did it, and snapped the winning streak for Tucker & Eric.
Kyland & Taylor start working on making the mici, as Joseph & Adam get to the Detour and start learning their dance. Izzy & Paige get their flute playing approved, so they head out to mici. Kyland gets his mici approved, but Taylor needs to get three fixed.
After what seems like forever, Jack & Chelsie get to the Detour and start working on the pan flute. Joseph & Adam are learning their dance, but Adam is saying his sugar is low. He doesn’t want to risk it, but he insists on continuing.
A Battle to the End
Kyland & Taylor get their mici approved. They eat their mici, and head to the Pit Stop. Jack & Chelsie are working on the music, Joseph & Adam are working on the dance. Izzy & Paige are now working on their mici.
On the sixth attempt, Joseph & Adam get their dance approved and head out to make their mici. Meanwhile, Jack is struggling to get the music down. On their fourth attempt, they get the music right, and they head out to make the mici.
Izzy & Paige get their mici approved. They eat their sausage and head to the Pit Stop. Now we see both Jack & Chelsie and Joseph & Adam at the final task, with Jack & Chelsie getting there a little earlier. It’s a battle to see who can get everything done first.
No luck for Jack & Chelsie on their first attempt, but they get them right on the second try. They eat the mici, and head out. They get in a taxi, so will they get there with no issues or have more direction problems? Joseph & Adam get their mici approved, they eat one, and head out. The race has begun!
Week 8 Pit Stop on ‘The Amazing Race’ Season 38
A foot race and bad directions all the way around tonight, but here are the results from “The Amazing Race” 2025 last night:
- First Place – Jas & Jag, they won a trip to Bermuda.
- Second Place – Tucker & Eric
- Third Place – Kyland & Taylor
- Fourth Place – Izzy & Paige
- Fifth Place – Jack & Chelsie
- Last Place – Joseph & Adam, but this is a non-elimination leg of the race, and they are still racing! Since they arrived last, they will be penalized in some way on the next leg of the race, but for now, they live on.
