It all comes down to this, as “The Amazing Race” season 38 finale has arrived. We will start the night with the final four teams, as we finish things from last week. Host Phil Keoghan will then send the teams back to the United States tonight for “The Amazing Race” season 38 finale. Who will win it all? Who Wins ‘The Amazing Race’ Tonight?
We all want to know the answer to that question tonight on “The Amazing Race” season 38. As we see in the sneak peek from CBS, Jas & Jag and Kyland & Taylor are taking part in this final leg. However, we don’t know yet who the third team will be: either Joseph & Adam or Izzy & Paige. Who makes it? We made our predictions earlier!
We will start fresh tonight, as all the teams will be making their way to New York City and continue their fight to be named the winners of “The Amazing Race” season 38, as this “Big Brother” crossover season comes to an end tonight. Follow along with our Live Recap below!

December 10 Live Recap – Finale

Who Is The Third Team?
We go back to last week’s leg, as we see Izzy & Paige and Joseph & Adam racing to the Pit Stop. Joseph & Adam are out of the car, but can’t find Phil. It is a very tight race, as they can see each other. However, it’s Joseph & Adam to get to Phil first, and they are the third team in the finale.
Izzy & Paige arrive at Phil next. They are the final team to check in, and they have been eliminated on “The Amazing Race” season 38, so your final three teams are Jas & Jag, Kyland & Taylor, and Joseph & Adam!
Heading Back to the United States
The final leg has started, and we have the teams heading to New York City. The teams all take the same flight. They land in NYC, grab their taxis, and get started on this final leg.
Jas & Jag get to the first clue, and they will be rappelling down the Empire State Building to get their next clue! Each member has to do it, and we know that Adam hated heights on a previous challenge, so this is going to be rough for them.
Kyland & Taylor arrive, and they are excited about it. Joseph & Adam arrive last, and Adam is a mess knowing what’s coming up. Jas & Jag are up first, and they rappel from the 103rd floor to the 90th floor. Down 13 floors, then they get the next clue.
Cookies Anyone?
For the next clue, Phil is joined by the Cookie Monster. He sent the teams to a special store to bring him back a special package. Jas & Jag head out, as they use the same taxi, and they said they have an alliance with him.
Kyland got down the building, and now Taylor is rappelling. Adam gets started, and he is very nervous. Taylor gets down, and they head out to the next clue. Adam works through the nerves, and he gets to the bottom, so then Joseph heads down.
Kyland & Taylor got the same taxi driver, so they have an alliance also? Joseph & Adam are done also, they are heading out.
Jas & Jag get their special package, now they head out to deliver it. Joseph & Adam don’t seem to have an alliance with a taxi driver, as they find one and head out. Now Jas & Jag get to the location, as they are excited to see the Cookie Monster.
They then get a special appearance by the Grouch, who gives them the next clue. The teams will now be heading to the Spandex House for the next clue. Joseph & Adam have the special package now, too. The other two teams get their cookie delivered, so everyone is heading to the Spandex House now. However, no taxi for Joseph & Adam, and they need to find a new one!
More Deliveries on ‘The Amazing Race’
Jas & Jag get to Spandex House. For this task, they have to fill a fabric order. There are five different fabrics, and they must gather 16 different bolts of these fabrics. However, the store is huge (it’s two floors), so it will be tough to find the specific fabrics. Once they have all their bolts, they will then deliver them 11 blocks by foot to some fashion students to get their next clue.
Kyland & Taylor arrive at the Spandex House and get started, as Jas & Jag are finishing up their order and heading out to deliver it. Jas & Jag are delivering their fabrics and said Kyland & Taylor are just five minutes behind, so the race is very tight. They are finishing up, as Joseph & Adam arrive at the Spandex House.
Delivering on these streets is tough, as there are people everywhere in New York City. Kyland & Taylor get their fabric approved, so they head out and tell their taxi driver to meet them at the end location. Taylor is struggling, as Kyland is pushing most of the fabric. Joseph & Adam get their fabrics approved, so they are heading out.
Meanwhile, Jas & Jag had one of the rolls of fabric open up. The fabric then got caught in the wheel of the cart, so now they are trying to get it out of the wheel while Kyland & Taylor are inching closer.
They don’t panic, roll the wheel the opposite way, get the fabric out, and head out again. They get it delivered and get the next clue, which has them heading to Seret Studio. Kyland & Taylor aren’t too far behind them, as they get it delivered also. Joseph & Adam are not too far behind them with the delivery.
A Tight Race
All three of the teams are heading to the Seret Studio, and they all think they are going to win tonight! Jas & Jag arrive first, and the teams will be an infamous New York crossword puzzle.
However, this is an “Amazing Race” crossword. The clues are all associated with this season and the different legs of the race. Finish the crossword puzzle correctly, and they will get the last clue!
Jas & Jag said they can’t spell, so this could be hard for them. They are working through it, though, with no other teams there yet. Kyland & Taylor arrive, but jas & Jag are having a hard time finishing the puzzle and answering some of the clues.
The letters to be used in the puzzle are all at the bottom of the screen, so that is helpful. Jas & Jag get all the words right. Now it highlights certain letters in the puzzle. They have to unscramble the letters. It happens to be Yankee Stadium, which is where they will head to check in with Phil Keoghan for the finish line!
Kyland & Taylor and Joseph & Adam are working on the puzzle. Kyland & Taylor get it down, figure out it’s Yankee Stadium, and they head out! As they race to the finish line, Joseph & Adam finish the puzzle, and they head out also.
A Race To the Finish Line
All of the teams are heading to Yankee Stadium. It seems like a very, very close race. We see Jas & Jag arrive first, and they have been crowned the winners of “The Amazing Race” season 38!
CBSKyland & Taylor are right behind them, taking second place. Then Joseph & Adam are not far behind them, taking third place.

This was the worst season. Why have people who already won a million dollars? It wasn’t even a real race. There was no suspense and no challenge that could sway the outcome. Very disappointing.
Horrible! Also why did Jag and Jas get to have the same taxi driver? Seems like it’s not fair to the other teams.
Just happy Taylor didn’t get to cry and complain all season then randomly take home a W once again. Would’ve been pretty on brand for her still but I’m happy with the outcome
I love amazing race but this was a terrible race was not impressed with it seemed very unfair
Was cool that Jas and Jag gave their taxi driver the left over money they were provided for that leg of the race…..$700 !
