Peg Munson officially made it to the Hometown dates on “The Golden Bachelor” season 2, and here are five interesting facts about the 62-year-old Nevada woman.
Peg Munson’s Job
Peg has talked about her job many times on “The Golden Bachelor,” but it’s worth repeating because her job is very interesting; although Peg is now retired, she used to be a firefighter and bomb technician.
According to Peg’s ABC bio, her career didn’t just involve life-or-death situations. Peg was also a professional dancer, performing with Las Vegas’s over-50 dance team, the High Rollers. This experience made Peg especially well suited for an early group date, in which she and the other “Golden Bachelor” contestants performed a cheer for lead Mel Owens.
Peg has been keeping busy, even in retirement. Although she’s no longer a firefighter, Peg’s Instagram bio says she’s a realtor and interior designer who does remodels. Prior to her time on “The Golden Bachelor” season 2, Peg’s Instagram featured images and videos of her remodels.
According to Peg’s Zillow account, she’s sold over 30 homes.
Peg Has a Hidden Talent

Like many of the women on “The Golden Bachelor” season 2, Peg is a mother. Her daughter, Dakota, was the product of Peg’s first and only marriage. Peg’s ABC bio describes her as “a proud single mom.”
Peg and her daughter seem close, based on Peg’s Instagram. In June 2025, the two posted a video together discussing a home’s new design and their paint choices.

RealitySteve announced he believes Cindy will win, although he is simply guessing and does not have any insider information.
Specifically, RealitySteve said, “My guess is Cindy’s gotta be one of the final two. It it was just they, the, the amount of camera time that she got in Wednesday night’s episode, she’s gotta be in the final two, if not the winner.”
