One of the most beloved reality TV couples, “Love Is Blind” stars Alexa and Brennon Lemieux, have announced they are ending their marriage. Alexa shared the couple’s joint statement on Instagram on Wednesday, December 3, confirming their decision to divorce after four years together.
The couple met on season 3 of Netflix reality series “Love Is Blind,” married on camera in July 2021, and welcomed their daughter, Vienna Ziva Lemieux, in July 2024.
In their statement, the former couple said that “after much reflection and many heartfelt conversations,” they reached the “difficult decision” to separate. “This choice was not made lightly, and it comes with a great deal of care, respect, and appreciation for the time we’ve shared.”
Their Joint Statement Highlights Gratitude and a Commitment to Co-Parenting
Alexa and Brennon gracefully explained that they “entered this relationship with love and optimism,” and are parting with “gratitude for the experiences that shaped us and the growth we each gained along the way.”
They added that they remain focused on raising their daughter together.
“While our journey as a married couple is coming to an end, we remain supportive of one another, devoted to our daughter, and committed to navigating this transition with compassion.”
They also asked for privacy as they “move forward and focus on [their] individual paths while keeping [their] precious daughter as our top priority.”
The Couple Reflected on Their Journey and the Role the Show Played
In the past, Alexa has been open about her experience with the Netflix series and how it shaped their connection.
She told People, “I don’t think Brennon and I would have met outside the show, although I’m hopeful that fate would’ve intervened. [LIB] allowed for both of us to communicate and really put ourselves out there.”
In July, Alexa marked their fourth anniversary with a heartfelt Instagram message.
“Happy 4 years to my lobster, thank you for being my person,” she wrote. “I never knew I could love someone the way I love you and blessed everyday that that love made the most perfect daughter.”
She continued, “You still give me butterflies and make my heart skip a beat. So grateful for the love, laughter, adventures, and priceless memories we’ve already made and can’t wait to make a million more ❤️🥂✨.”
Welcoming Vienna and Celebrating Her First Year
During their marriage, Alexa and Brennon shared their pregnancy news with People in January 2024. They later revealed they were expecting a baby girl. Vienna was born on July 31, 2024.
“Our perfect daughter, Vienna Ziva Lemieux, was born July 31, 2024. She has mommy’s hair and daddy’s dimples, and we couldn’t be more in love 🩷,” they wrote in an August 2024 post.
For Vienna’s first birthday, Alexa shared a carousel of family photos. “Happy birthday to my littlest but greatest love,” she wrote. “Thank you for making my heart whole… I’m still in awe that I’m lucky enough to know you, much less be your mom.”
Though their marriage is ending, Alexa and Brennon’s statements make clear that their devotion to Vienna remains at the center of their lives.
