Lindsay Lohan knows how to celebrate the holidays. The star of Netflix‘s “Falling for Christmas” has decorated her home for the festive season and is spending this special time with an adorable little elf. Or rather, her 2-year-old son Luai, who she shares with her husband, Bader Shammas.
Taking to Instagram on Monday, December 8, Lohan shared a look at her fabulous Christmas tree which featured a range of sweet ornaments, a big red bow and a silver star on top.
Check out the bottom of the tree and you’ll see a snowman, a little Santa and Luai who seems to be interested in the seasonal set-up.
In two other photos, Luai can be seen with ornaments that aren’t yet on the tree while wearing a cute “Lion King” jumper in one shot.
In each pic, the protective mom made sure that Luai’s face couldn’t be seen.
In the caption, Lohan wrote, “Christmas🎄time 🤩”
Fans Were Feeling the Festive Vibe
When Lohan shared the photos of her son and the family’s Christmas tree, fans left comments with a fair share of festive cheer.
“Beautiful Christmas tree! Love seeing you create these precious moments/memories with your family!🎄🥰,” one person wrote.
Another added, “Santa clause is coming…”
“Those sweet little hands!❤️,” came from a third social media user.
Someone else wrote, “Aw have the best time!!! Thank you for sharing with us these cute moments ❤️ seeing you happy with your life is the best Christmas gift! You have been my fav actress since I was 6 in 2004 and seeing you finally living the happiness you deserve is just the best 🥹⭐️”
Lindsay is Showing Her Son ‘a Different Way’ of Living
Lohan may have gone through a youth filled with work and fame not to mention her wild child days; however, she’s turning her experiences into something positive that she can use as a mother.
While opening up about raising her son during a panel at the Wellness Oasis at Reserve Miami Seaplane, she explained (via Page Six), “The experiences I’ve gone through in my life I can now share that with my son so he knows a different way.”
“I’m so grateful for that and the knowledge that I’ve gained through all the stuff I’ve gone through in my past,” she added. “It’s so nice I can now guide him in a different direction.”
She also talked about being a mother, saying that she loves “every single moment knowing you can share your life with another person, that you’ve given life to this whole person, and they get to see the world with such freedom.”
She continued by saying, “When you look into your child’s eyes and they look back at you. It’s a serious moment. You have to really take in that second. It’s this whole world of wonder.”
