“The Voice” coach Kelly Clarkson will kickoff the NFL Christmas Gameday on Netflix, according to Tudum. Clarkson will perform her iconic upbeat Christmas song, “Underneath the Tree.” Unfortunately, it doesn’t sound like the prolific singer will entertain fans with more than one song, but everyone will have to tune in on December 24, 2025 to find out for certain.

How To Watch Kelly Clarkson’s NFL Performance

Kelly Clarkson fans will need a Netflix account to watch the special performance. The first teams playing, the Dallas Cowboys vs. the Washington Commanders, will kick off at 1 p.m. ET. Later, at 4:30 p.m. ET, the Detroit Lions will face-off against the Minnesota Vikings.

It should be noted that Clarkson will not be the halftime performer, she will simply open the festivities with her much-streamed Christmas tune. Netflix has yet to announce a halftime performer.

Clarkson is the perfect singer to dazzle audiences on Christmas day. Not only has she released an entire album of holiday songs, Clarkson is a Texas native who has often shown support for the Dallas Cowboys. She even recorded a Cowboys anthem called “Get Up” in 2015.

In an official video announcing the performance, Clarkson reiterated her love of football. “Two great football games on Christmas day?,” she said. “That’s a present we can all enjoy.”

Kelly Clarkson’s Life After ‘The Voice’

Despite no longer coaching on NBC’s “The Voice,” Clarkson has kept herself busy. In addition to performing on Netflix’s upcoming NFL stream, the “Because of You” singer hosts a self-titled daytime talk show on NBC.

Clarkson also released a new album not too long ago. “Chemistry” came out in 2023, and Clarkson described the new release is about “the arc of an entire relationship,” according to a video the artist released on X (fka Twitter).

The album featured references to her past songs, specifically “Piece By Piece.” In “Rock Hudson,” Clarkson sings, “By the way, piece by piece I found out my hero’s me,” giving a bookend to one of her more famous songs.

Clarkso is also a mother to two children with her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock. The two got divorced in 2022. Yet, when Blackstock was diagnosed with cancer, Clarkson cared for him until his untimely death, according to Page Six. To do so, Clarkson had taken time away from her talk show. Luckily, she’s now back on TV, bringing joy to all who tune in.

Jake Paul and Anthony Joshua face off during a press conference for Jake Paul v Anthony Joshua at Kaseya Center

Jake Paul and Anthony Joshua will meet in the ring on Dec. 19 in Miami in what may be one of the most unconventional and anticipated matchups in recent boxing history. The fight, called Judgment Day, will stream live on Netflix and bring together a YouTube-turned-boxer and a former heavyweight champion on a global stage that extends far beyond traditional boxing audiences.

This unusual pairing has pushed the sport into a new era of spectacle. At the same time, it forces both men into a battle where reputation is nearly as important as the result. Paul and Joshua enter the ring with different histories and expectations, but each stands to gain or lose significantly depending on what happens in those eight rounds.

Paul’s Biggest Gamble Yet

Paul built his career on calculated risks, but this may be his largest one yet. He has assembled a 9–1 record since turning to professional boxing, and he argues that a victory over Joshua would silence the critics who dismiss his rise as entertainment rather than athletic merit. Paul’s push for legitimacy has shaped the promotion of this fight and helped turn it into more than a novelty. According to USA Today, Paul said beating Joshua would shut up those who still view him as an outsider.

Joshua arrives with a resume that speaks for itself. The British fighter has held unified heavyweight titles and fought some of the best competitors of his era. According to Netflix’s Tudum, he will enter the bout with a significant size advantage, which could pose trouble for Paul, who typically competes at lower weights. Joshua has not fought in more than a year, but his height, reach, and technical background make him the clear favorite.

A New Platform for a Classic Showdown

By moving the fight to Netflix rather than pay-per-view, Paul and Joshua are expanding boxing’s reach to millions of casual viewers. Netflix’s Tudum reported that the company sees the matchup as part of a broader move into live sports and global event broadcasting. This shift could signal a new direction for the sport, where streaming platforms create shared cultural moments once dominated by cable.

The stakes extend beyond either corner. If Paul holds his own or pulls off an upset, he could change perceptions of crossover fighters and prove that unconventional origins do not prevent someone from earning respect in the ring. If Joshua dominates, he could reinforce the importance of experience and pedigree in a sport where power can decide everything in a single punch.

Regardless of the outcome, the Dec. 19 fight is set to command attention far beyond Miami. Judgment Day may reshape how boxing intersects with entertainment, leaving fans talking long after the final bell.

Netflix released the first teaser trailer for Season 2 of its live-action “Avatar: The Last Airbender,” giving fans their first look at Toph Beifong, one of the franchise’s most popular characters. The streamer published the footage on its Tudum site and across its social media platforms.

The new season continues the story of Aang and his companions as they move deeper into the Earth Kingdom and confront growing threats from the Fire Nation. With the addition of Toph, an earthbending prodigy who first appeared in the animated series, the series begins a major new chapter in the Avatar universe.

Toph’s debut signals a shift in tone and scope and positions Season 2 to explore more complex political and emotional storylines that shaped the original Nickelodeon series.

Toph Makes Her Live-Action Debut

The teaser introduces Toph in an underground earthbending fight arena. Netflix shows her standing barefoot on the ground as she senses vibrations and forms stone around her arms before charging forward. According to the streaming platform, her seismic sense and unconventional fighting style remain central to the character, mirroring her portrayal in the animated version.

Variety reported that actress Miya Cech plays Toph, who becomes Aang’s earthbending teacher and a core member of Team Avatar. The outlet noted that her introduction marks one of the most anticipated casting reveals of the live-action adaptation.

Deadline reported that Season 2 aims to expand the world visually and narratively. The new season highlights the tension rising across the Earth Kingdom as Aang searches for allies who can help resist the Fire Nation’s military campaign.

Behind-the-Scenes Changes & What Comes Next

Netflix confirmed that Christine Boylan and Jabbar Raisani serve as showrunners for Seasons 2 and 3 after leadership changes that followed Season 1. According to reporting from Variety, the creative team plans to stay close to major story beats from the animated series while developing more character-driven arcs.

Deadline reported that production wrapped earlier in 2025. Netflix has not announced a specific premiere date, although the company stated on Tudum that Season 2 will debut in 2026. The eight-episode first season premiered in February 2024, opening at No. 1 overall on Nielsen’s streaming charts, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The trailer also offers brief looks at returning characters, including Aang, Katara, and Sokka, as they enter new territory and face higher stakes. Scenes of the Earth Kingdom landscape, underground arenas, and Fire Nation military forces indicate a season that leans into darker themes and more mature conflict.

Season three of “The Lincoln Lawyer” premiered on Netflix in October 2024. Now, fans have been waiting quite a while for its return. According to Deadline, fans can dive into season four starting on February 5, 2026.

As viewers are aware, the hit Netflix show is based on Michael Connelly’s book series. This season is based on the sixth book in the series, “The Law of Innocence.” Per the tagging, this season will see the lead character, Mickey Haller, attempt to prove his innocence in a high-profile murder case. This comes after he was arrested in the show’s third season.

The cast includes Manuel Garcia Rulfo, Constance Zimmer, Neve Campbell, Becki Newton, Jazz Raycole, and Angus Sampson.

Additionally, Krista Warner, Elliott Gould, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Marcus Henderson, Gigi Zumbado, Scott Lawrence, Lana Parilla, Sasha Alexander, Cobie Smulders, Kacey Montoya, Jason O’Mara, Jason Butler Harner, Javon Johnson, Kyle Richards, and Nancy Silverton also appear on the series this year.

“The Lincoln Lawyer” was created for television by David E Kelley, who also serves as executive producer. A+E Studios produces it.

There Are More Seasons Planned

While season four of “The Lincoln Lawyer” is yet to premiere, there has been talk of a potential fifth and sixth season. Rulfo, the show’s lead, said to Variety in July 2025, “I never imagined it was going to have the success that it has. People love it.”

He continued when asked how much longer it may last, “I don’t know. We’ll see. I was talking to [Michael Connelly] a few days ago, he was on set, and he’s still writing, he’s still writing for more Lincoln Lawyer and he’s so good, and I think it’s one of those characters you could do it for — because he’s larger than life and he’s such a fun character and again, people love it. So we’ll see. It depends on the people.”

Co-showrunners Dailyn Rodriguez and Ted Humphrey spoke to TV Insider about the future of “The Lincoln Lawyer” in 2023. They said they have hopes to film seasons for all of the books in the series. As of writing, there are eight seasons, with the most recent being 2025’s “The Proving Ground.”

Netflix has acquired the exclusive global rights to the third season of chef Matty Matheson’s offbeat cooking series “Just A Dash,” Deadline reported Tuesday, giving fans worldwide access to the show. The streaming service will also make the first two seasons available when the new season premieres on January 20, 2026.

From YouTube to Streaming Giant

“Just A Dash” began on Matheson’s YouTube channel in 2019, quickly gaining a devoted online following. The series quickly gained a dedicated following for its mix of high-energy cooking, improvisation, and chaotic humor. Netflix’s acquisition moves the show from digital-native content to mainstream streaming, giving viewers worldwide easy access to all three seasons.

“Matty Matheson has built a brand that combines personality, humor, and culinary skill in a way that resonates with audiences everywhere,” Netflix said in a statement. PopCulture.com reported that the streaming service will release all seasons simultaneously, encouraging binge-watching for longtime fans and newcomers alike.

Matheson, who also appears on FX’s Emmy-winning drama “The Bear,” said he is excited to share the show with a wider audience. “This season is going to be unpredictable, messy, and maybe the most insane TV show ever created in the culinary world,” he told PopCulture.com.

What to Expect in Season 3

Unlike previous seasons, which were filmed mostly in Matheson’s kitchen, the third season will feature a road-trip style format. Matheson and his crew will travel with “no kitchen and no plan,” creating on-the-fly recipes in unconventional locations, Deadline reported.

The producers describe the season as a mix of culinary creativity and offbeat comedy. Matheson’s approach combines improvisation with bold flavors, producing dishes that are as entertaining as they are edible. PopCulture.com called it a “full-blown culinary joy ride,” noting that the series retains the unfiltered energy that made it a YouTube hit.

Why the Move Matters

By adding “Just A Dash” to its catalogue, Netflix expands its portfolio beyond traditional reality and cooking shows. The series challenges conventional food programming by prioritizing personality and spontaneity over polished production.

For Matheson, the deal is a chance to reach a global audience while preserving the show’s signature chaos. For viewers, it offers an opportunity to watch every season in one place and experience a cooking show that combines humor, unpredictability, and genuine culinary skill.

With all three seasons arriving on January 20, 2026, Netflix subscribers can prepare for a thrilling ride that is part cooking lesson, part comedy, and entirely Matty Matheson.

The animated musical film “KPop Demon Hunters” scored three nominations for the 2026 Golden Globe Awards, announced Monday. The Netflix feature will compete for Best Motion Picture – Animated, Best Original Song – Motion Picture for “Golden,” and Cinematic and Box Office Achievement.

The nominations position the film as one of the year’s leading animated contenders. Industry analysts told The Hollywood Reporter that the film’s broad recognition reflects the growing impact of global pop culture in mainstream animation and awards circuits.

A Rising Global Hit

“KPop Demon Hunters” follows HUNTR/X, a fictional K-pop girl group that balances idol stardom with demon-hunting missions. The Hollywood Reporter noted that the film became one of Netflix’s strongest animated performers of 2025, driven largely by its music and multilingual appeal.

“Golden,” the film’s breakout single, is performed by vocalists EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami. Variety reported that the track had already earned awards attention before its Golden Globe nomination, including recognition at the Hollywood Music in Media Awards.

EJAE, who co-wrote the song, told Deadline that the Golden Globe nod felt “surreal” and credited the film’s fanbase for the song’s rise.

Deadline reported that the film also benefited from a limited theatrical release that qualified it for major awards consideration, even though it debuted primarily on streaming. The outlet said the box office and streaming performance helped push the film into the Globes’ Cinematic and Box Office Achievement category.

What the Nominations Signal

The nominations highlight a shift in how animated films can compete during awards season. Variety reported that industry watchers view the film’s recognition as a sign that animation influenced by international music genres can stand alongside traditional studio productions.

The Golden Globe recognition also comes as the film campaigns for a spot in the Academy Awards’ Best Animated Feature race. Rolling Stone noted that the film has built a strong online following, which may bolster its awards momentum.

Even with competition from major studio releases, “KPop Demon Hunters” enters the season with a profile shaped by both critical attention and global fan engagement. The Hollywood Reporter said that the film’s soundtrack remains a key driver of its popularity, as K-pop continues to shape global music culture.

As the Golden Globes approach, the film’s creators await whether its nominations will translate into wins. Regardless of the outcome, the film’s presence in multiple categories signals that animated stories rooted in global pop and contemporary music trends are increasingly resonating with voters.

Lindsay Lohan knows how to celebrate the holidays. The star of Netflix‘s “Falling for Christmas” has decorated her home for the festive season and is spending this special time with an adorable little elf. Or rather, her 2-year-old son Luai, who she shares with her husband, Bader Shammas.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, December 8, Lohan shared a look at her fabulous Christmas tree which featured a range of sweet ornaments, a big red bow and a silver star on top.

Check out the bottom of the tree and you’ll see a snowman, a little Santa and Luai who seems to be interested in the seasonal set-up.

In two other photos, Luai can be seen with ornaments that aren’t yet on the tree while wearing a cute “Lion King” jumper in one shot.

In each pic, the protective mom made sure that Luai’s face couldn’t be seen.

In the caption, Lohan wrote, “Christmas🎄time 🤩”

Fans Were Feeling the Festive Vibe

When Lohan shared the photos of her son and the family’s Christmas tree, fans left comments with a fair share of festive cheer.

“Beautiful Christmas tree! Love seeing you create these precious moments/memories with your family!🎄🥰,” one person wrote.

Another added, “Santa clause is coming…”

“Those sweet little hands!❤️,” came from a third social media user.

Someone else wrote, “Aw have the best time!!! Thank you for sharing with us these cute moments ❤️ seeing you happy with your life is the best Christmas gift! You have been my fav actress since I was 6 in 2004 and seeing you finally living the happiness you deserve is just the best 🥹⭐️”

Lindsay is Showing Her Son ‘a Different Way’ of Living

Lohan may have gone through a youth filled with work and fame not to mention her wild child days; however, she’s turning her experiences into something positive that she can use as a mother.

While opening up about raising her son during a panel at the Wellness Oasis at Reserve Miami Seaplane, she explained (via Page Six), “The experiences I’ve gone through in my life I can now share that with my son so he knows a different way.”

“I’m so grateful for that and the knowledge that I’ve gained through all the stuff I’ve gone through in my past,” she added. “It’s so nice I can now guide him in a different direction.”

She also talked about being a mother, saying that she loves “every single moment knowing you can share your life with another person, that you’ve given life to this whole person, and they get to see the world with such freedom.”

She continued by saying, “When you look into your child’s eyes and they look back at you. It’s a serious moment. You have to really take in that second. It’s this whole world of wonder.”

Theron’s bold sheer bodysuit may be proof that she’s willing to take chances with her style choices, which might make you think that she’s not always successful with her decisions. However, it turns out that there are “very few” if any past looks that she regrets.

“I feel like there shouldn’t be any faux pas,” Theron told People in September 2023. “I really feel like if you just go by how you feel and how much you love it, then it’s not a faux pas.”

“I mean, there are a lot of dresses that I know people didn’t like, but I’m like, I looked at myself in the mirror that night, and I was feeling myself,” she added.

She also mentioned her longtime stylist, Leslie Fremar, saying, “I feel like I’ve been so spoiled. … Man, I am a lucky girl. She’s stuck with me whether she likes it or not.”

Millie Bobby Brown said she wanted the final days on the set of “Stranger Things” to feel personal, so she spent the night before the show’s last table read making friendship bracelets for the entire cast. Brown spoke about the gesture during an appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Dec. 7.

The Netflix series, which began in 2016, turned its young ensemble into globally recognized stars. With production ending on the fifth and final season, Brown said she hoped to give her co-stars something that captured what they all experienced together.

A Handmade Farewell

Brown said she teamed up with Noah Schnapp to make about 30 bracelets for the cast members. Each bracelet carried charms they chose to reflect the personality of the person receiving it, she said. Brown described the project as a late-night effort that became emotional once they arrived at the table read.

“We didn’t sit at a table. We sat on couches, and we just cried for basically two hours straight,” she said, according to People. Many of the actors were children when they first auditioned for the series, and Brown said the bracelets represented nearly a decade of shared memories and growth.

Brown said the cast grew close over the years. She said their friendships extended beyond filming, press events, and award seasons. The bracelets felt like a natural way to honor that bond.

A Surprise Moment on the Show

During her interview, Brown also gave Fallon a sentimental keepsake connected to her character, Eleven. She presented him with the bracelet that appears in the show’s second season. In the series, it began as a hair tie that once belonged to the late daughter of Chief Hopper, Eleven’s father figure.

Brown told Fallon she wanted to thank him for supporting her throughout her career. Fallon appeared visibly moved by the gesture. Brown said giving the bracelet to him felt fitting because he had interviewed her through many key moments of her life and career, from childhood to early adulthood.

A Cast that Grew Up Together

Brown has often said the “Stranger Things” cast feels like a family. Several actors spent their adolescence filming the series, navigating school, fame, and industry pressures while working closely together. The final season’s ending, she said, made the group reflect on the years they shared as co-stars and friends.

As the series prepares to close out its run, Brown’s handmade gifts carry the weight of a long chapter coming to a close. The bracelets serve not as souvenirs from a set, but as reminders of a show that shaped their lives both on and off screen.
