The bros have always made it clear to fans that they share a love for all things Halloween-related and put a ton of effort into celebrating the Spooky season each year.
Jonathan & Drew Started Their Love of Halloween Early
During a long conversation with their parents that the brothers have posted on YouTube, Jonathan and Drew reminisced with their mom Joanne Scott about the elaborate Halloween costumes she made for them growing up.
“What would you say was our priority, Halloween or Christmas, as our favorite holiday?,” Jonathan asks his mom in the video. “They were both pretty special,” Joanne replies.
“What were the best costumes that you made for us?,” Drew asks. “Because you made all of our costumes.”
The brothers then show a series of pictures of robots, muscle men and more than Joanne created.
The Property Brothers have also posted a series of throwback pictures on their website that include several of them in costume.
The Bros’ Love for Halloween Has Continued in Adulthood
In a video on their YouTube channel, Jonathan and Drew Scott reveal that they have a stash of “hundreds, if not thousands of costumes,” saying, “everybody and anybody who knows us knows we love Halloween.”
The brothers have shared countless ideas for costumes on social media, and even posted a video showing off how they decorated their respective homes for Halloween last year.
“I’m going tech this year,” Drew revealed. “So everything I’m doing, it’s lighting and it’s projector.”
“I’m basically going to be the Griswold of Halloween,” Jonathan joked. “Actually the fun thing is, I was challenged by my 9-year-old to do an actual scary haunted house and I am absolutely pulling it off. It’s going to be fun.”
The nearly 9-minute long video takes fans through the elaborate steps each brother took to go all-in on Halloween.
