“Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star Britani Bateman is revealing the surprising text she received after the season 6 premiere and offering a candid update on how her relationships with the cast have changed post-filming.
Britani Receives an Unexpected Message
In an exclusive interview at Bravo HQ, Britani opened up about a text message she got from fellow season 6 castmate Lisa Barlow following the premiere.
NBCUniversal“She called me after episode 1 aired and texted me, too, and I just didn’t pick up,” Britani said.
“She texted me ‘thank you,'” she said, referring to Lisa’s realization that Britani had defended her against the other ladies when she was absent during the first episode of the season. “Because I feel like she saw for the first time how hard I rode her. I rode for her so hard, and it just got, like, passed over. Did you notice that? Like, no one ever really talked about it.”
“Heather [Gay] even took all of the credit for riding hard for Lisa and really, it was me.”
NBCUniversalBritani admitted that she really thought she and Lisa were close, even “sisters,” as she had said season 6, episode 1. But the two haven’t spoken since Lisa reached out to her.
“I felt like she was like a sister to me,” Britani continued at Bravo HQ. “And when someone’s like a sister, when someone’s that close to you, they can hurt you the most by betraying you. And that’s what was so hard on me. I didn’t pick up the phone. She just said ‘thank you’ and I knew what she was thanking me for, so I just said, ‘you’re welcome.’ And that was the only communication we’ve had.”
Britani’s Friendships With the Rest of the Cast
NBCUniversalBritani opened up about her varied relationships with the rest of the season 6 cast of “RHOSLC.”
“Whenever I see her outside the clique, we’re great,” she said of Angie Katsanevas. “When I see her in the clique, she kind of becomes Regina George. And not the nice kind.”
NBCUniversalHer relationships with Heather and Whitney Rose are “good.”
“They’re always good,” Britani added. “Like Whitney and I started off rough, over Lisa though. Where I was fighting for Lisa and I took it on the chin from Whitney, for Lisa. I did all of that for Lisa. And didn’t get any recognition over it other than ‘Thanks.’ That’s OK, that’s very Lisa-ish.”
NBCUniversalBritani feels like there’s a blossoming friendship between her and Mary Cosby. “I feel like Mary and I are best friends in the making,” she said. “I really do. She doesn’t know this yet, but Mary, we’re gonna be best friends someday.”
NBCUniversal“We talk about once a week,” Britani said of Bronwyn Newport. “Which is the most I talk to anybody in the cast. She calls me all the time. And I really, really appreciate it. I sent her flowers when her dad passed, and we’ve just become closer than I ever imagined possible.”

Brittani is literally the “save it for the cameras kind of gal”. I don’t find any authenticity with her and her ridiculous relationship with the Osmond dude. That being said I have been and huge Heather Gay fan but not anymore. She is turning into a mini Whitney stirring up problems with no proof. Heather has been a manhole disappointment this season. Whitney is beyond redemption and always looking to point the finger and never has solid proof of anything and then when it’s found out that she was wrong there’s never an apology or admission from her. Lastly, I find myself liking Lisa more this season and these women are always coming after her. But I like that she doesn’t take shit and defends herself. Lastly, there is my queen, the Goddess, and the most intelligent housewife, Meredith Marks. We love you Meredith and don’t get caught up in bad hair, fake Barbie, Anna be Princess Brittani. She is so beneath you. You just do you boo and we will all sit back and enjoy all of your wonder fullness!
