Hallmark star Kimberley Sustad’s latest movie debuted on October 25, and it seems she loved working on it.
Sustad shared a sweet post on her Instagram page ahead of the premiere of “Merry Christmas, Ted Cooper!” In the post, she gushed over her co-star, Robert Buckley.
Hallmark fans didn’t need to read between the lines to figure out how she felt about this particular project and co-star.
Kimberley Sustad Had Sweet Things to Say About Co-Star Robert Buckley
Sustad included a handful of photos and videos featuring Buckley. It appeared that they were all taken while the pair filmed “Merry Christmas, Ted Cooper!”
In the caption, Sustad wrote, “I’d stand in a trash heap and put up with @robertearlbuckley again and again to bring you these stories.”
She added, “Enjoy, this one is for you, always and forever for you.”
“Yes that’s Robert sneaking prop cookies. You made a good one @robertearlbuckley thanks for having me along for the ride,” Sustad continued.
A comment from the Hallmark Channel Instagram page said what many fans were likely thinking. “Actually obsessed with you two,” the note read. Sustad replied, “The feeling is mutual.”
A Hallmark fan added, “I think it’s safe to say many of us fans are thrilled about this pairing. Can’t wait!”
Hallmark Fans Were Excited to Watch Sustad & Buckley’s Movie
Fellow Hallmark star Tyler Hynes left a comment that contained simply a king’s crown emoji, signaling his similar level of appreciation for Buckley.
Actor Aleks Paunovic commented, “Buckley is one of the best humans ever! I will fight anyone who says otherwise!”
A fan wrote, “I had a terrible week, my heart needs this movie.” Sustad replied to that comment with a string of supportive emojis.
“I can’t wait to watch tonight. I always look forward to your new movies come out. They always make me smile,” commented another fan.
“Merry Christmas, Ted Cooper!” was the first movie that starred Sustad and Buckley together. By the sounds of things, Sustad is hoping it won’t be the last.
An additional comment left on Sustad’s post read, “You are both Adorable! Two of my favorite actors ever!!!! I can’t wait to see your movie tonight!”
Someone else added, “I’d stand in a trash heap to watch whatever you and @robertearlbuckley create! So very excited.”
A couple of fans admitted they needed to do some creative orchestrating of their evening, as they wanted to watch the Toronto Blue Jays playoff game while not missing “Merry Christmas, Ted Cooper!”
Hallmark fans took to Reddit to share their reactions to the film, and it seemed everybody loved it. As much as Sustad loved working with Buckley, it looks as if Hallmark viewers also loved the pairing and will likely be rallying to see more of the two together.
Kimberly is one of my favorite Hallmark stars. She is not only talented but beautiful and I always look forward to watch her movies.
