Hallmark alum Ryan Paevey has a lot on his plate these days. The “Unleashing Mr. Darcy” and “Marrying Mr. Darcy” star recently revealed he would soon head back to television after stepping away from acting. Now, in addition, Paevey has given fans an opportunity to check out a new series he has launched on YouTube.
Ryan Paevey Hyped the 1st Episode of His YouTube Series
On September 12, Paevey shared a teaser from his new project on his Instagram page. In the caption, he wrote, “If ya haven’t seen it yet, the first episode of The Wanderers is up on my YouTube!”
Paevey continued, “Go check it out…the goal is for me and my buddies to do more like this, around the world, and share these adventures with ya.”
The first episode of “The Wanderers” was initially posted on YouTube on September 7. Paevey describes the series as one that “highlights the beauty of San Diego’s coastline, from hidden beaches to popular breaks.” He named the first episode “Pretty Sure It’s Better to Live Life Chasing Adventure.”
The debut of “The Wanderers” gives Paevey’s fans a taste of his day-to-day life away from television cameras. He showed his studio where he works on his jewelry, and he noted that he almost always spends part of each day surfing. Paevey’s close friend, whom he often refers to as his little brother, Toshi, joins him in the first episode.
Fans Loved the Debut Episode of ‘The Wanderers’
HallmarkPaevey’s YouTube series debut comes on the heels of a big career-related announcement for the actor. After more than seven years away from the soap world, Paevey is returning to “General Hospital.” According to Deadline, Paevey had already been on the set filming new scenes.
Few details regarding Paevey’s return have been revealed so far. The actor confirmed he was heading back to “General Hospital,” but it is not known who he will play or how long he’ll be back in Port Charles.
The first episode of “The Wanderers” got stellar reviews from Paevey’s fans.
“I’m watching. Beautiful videos. Nothing exists when you’re on, or in, the water,” one Instagram user commented.
Another wrote, “Watched and subscribed!”
“Watched it as soon as it was up loved the video can’t wait to watch more you put out,” added someone else.
“So love the video!” an additional Instagram follower shared. They continued, “The video was uplifting as well, thank you Ryan.”
