Former Hallmark star Ryan Paevey has fans buzzing over the news he is filming a big television return. As much as Hallmark fans would love to see him back in a new project for the network, that is not the case for now.
Rather, the “Unleashing Mr. Darcy” star is returning to “General Hospital.” He teased fans with a short video clip and posed a big question as everybody waits for his first return episode to air.
Ryan Paevey Shared an Epic Throwback Moment
On August 24, Paevey shared a brief video on his Instagram page. In the caption, he wrote, “Is Nathan West back??? Drop your predictions below.”
The video showed Kirsten Storms, who plays Maxie, rushing around her apartment preparing to leave. When she hears a knock on the door, she assumes it’s Mac picking her up to take her to the airport.
Maxie is surprised to answer the door and see a handsome stranger smiling at her.
The snippet that Paevey shared came from a January 2014 episode of “General Hospital.” In that episode, Paevey, playing Nathan West, first met Maxie.
As “General Hospital” fans know, that meeting changed Maxie’s plans and the two fell deeply in love. Paevey left the show in 2018, noted Deadline, when his character was killed off.
At this point, it is not known who Paevey will play in his return to “General Hospital.” Fans have already come up with plenty of ideas, though.

In the comment section of his new post, fans gushed over the actor and shared their theories about who he will play when he returns to “General Hospital” in September.
One fan wrote, “Whoever you are, just glad to have you back!”
Another wrote, “I don’t even care what the character’s name is! I’m so freakin excited for this!”
“I can’t even imagine what this would do to Maxi to see Nathan back. They were still one of my favorite love stories,” added someone else.
A “General Hospital” fan questioned, “Why did I just watch this clip like 8 times over & over?”
“I think this is his way of hinting he is Nathan,” shared a fan, referencing the clip Paevey shared.
“I hope you are Nathan, but I think you are the one keeping Britt in Croatia,” suggested another fan.
Another comment read, “I don’t know if you’re Nathan West or a new character but I must say: you look great!! Time has stood still for you!”
