How Many Mirrorball Trophies Has Alan Bersten Won?

It’s the “Dancing with the Stars” Season 34 finale, and among the final five competing for the Mirrorball Trophy is Elaine Hendrix and her professional dance partner Alan Bersten.

The pair have had some stunning performances this season, and Hendrix has overcome injury to reach this point, demonstrating her resilience and dedication to the ABC dance competition. But, she’s not the only one who is dedicated! Bersten has an impressive history on the show, and he has proven before that he has what it takes to become a champ.

Alan Bersten’s Mirrorball Wins

Bersten and Hendrix will be hoping to be crowned the winners tonight, on Tuesday, November 25, but the professional dancer has won the competition before. Bersten’s first season as a pro was on Season 25 in 2018. He won for his first and (currently) only time in Season 28 in 2019 alongside “The Bachelorette” star Hannah Brown.

Bersten is also no stranger to the finale, having been here several times before. In Season 33, he placed second alongside rugby star Ilona Maher. The pair lost out on the Mirrorball Trophy this year to “The Bachelor” star Joey Graziadei and professional dance partner Jenna Johnson.

Bersten placed fourth with Amanda Kloots in Season 30 and placed fourth again with Alexis Ren in Season 27.

The Emotion of Winning DWTS

Bersten may seem like one of the more serious pros, but he was overcome by emotion when he won the Mirrorball Trophy. “I can’t even put into words how I feel,” he told Us Weekly after the live finale during Season 28. “It’s my first win! I cried like a baby. It was the best feeling in the world and I’m so proud of Hannah. I can’t believe this journey ended like this and I’m just happy.”

He continued, “We’re going to celebrate in New York and just take some time and enjoy this. It’s been 11 weeks of nonstop work and fun and I’m just, I can’t even put into words the feeling that I got.”

Will there be more celebrating tonight? If Bersten and Hendrix win tonight, they will be doing so after performing three dances. This includes an Instant Dance round, a Freestyle routine, and the Judges’ Choice dance. For the Freestyle, they will be performing to “Opening: I Hope I Get It” from “A Chorus Line,” and for the Judges’ Choice, a rumba to “Take My  Breath Away” by Jae Hall.
