Whitney Leavitt’s Former Rival Shows Support After Her Cha Cha With Mark Ballas

“Dancing with the Stars” Season 34 has already delivered some incredible performances, and we are only in Week 2. There are some standout performers, notably “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star Whitney Leavitt, who is paired with professional dance partner Mark Ballas.

The pair earned top marks, alongside Robert Irwin and Witney Carson, on the season premiere, and they did not disappoint with their performance on September 23 either.

Whitney Leavitt & Mark Ballas’ DWTS Season 34 Journey

For the One Hit Wonders theme, Leavitt and Ballas performed a cha cha to “Play That Funky Music” by Wild Cherry. Judges Bruno Tonioli, Derek Hough, and Carrie Ann Inaba scored them 22/30. This was the top mark on the night, shared by performers Irwin and Carson, who performed a tango to “Move Your Feet” by Junior Senior, and Jordan Chiles and partner Ezra Sosa, who did a jive to “Maniac” by Michael Sembello.

Leavitt’s “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” co-star Jen Affleck and professional dance partner Jan Ravnik performed a quickstep to “Take On Me” by a-ha. They also scored 22/30. Ravnik is new to the show but has worked on Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour.

It is safe to say that Ballas and Leavitt are currently one of the top contenders and are in the running for the Mirror Ball trophy. The official “Dancing with the Stars” Instagram account shared photos from the night on September 23. The couple was wearing red costumes, and they looked incredible. The pictures highlight some of their moves. “Whitney and Mark’s #OneHitWondersNight Cha Cha had us moving to the grooving #DWTS,” the caption reads.

Whitney Leavitt Gets Support From Taylor Frankie Paul

The comment section was flooded with messages of support for Ballas and Leavitt. They dance so well that even Leavitt’s former rival has weighed in. Taylor Frankie Paul, Leavitt’s co-star on “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” and one-time rival (although the pair appear to have put their issues behind them even before DWTS Season 34 started), reacted to the post with a show of support.

“Okay we see you,” Paul wrote, followed by a fire emoji.

Leavitt’s current DWTS Season 34 co-star and former “Boy Meets World” actress Danielle Fishel also showed her support. “Unbelievable. Truly INSANE. So proud of you BOTH!,” she wrote.

Other reactions include, “Whitney, I’m absolutely speechless!!!! Stunning, amazing, absolutely everything!,” “BLOWN AWAY,” and “Y’all match each other’s energy SO WELL. You guys are fire on the dance floor.”

Let’s see what happens in Week 3, but we have a feeling that Ballas and Leavitt are going to bring it!
