Selena Gomez is one supportive BFF to Taylor Swift.
The pop star, who married Benny Blanco in September, joined the bride-to-be at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday, December 7, to watch the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Houston Texans.
A fan shared on X that Swift and Gomez were spotted sitting next to each other.
“My parents are sitting next to taylor swift and selena gomez rn im ABOUT TO CRASH OUT,” the fan wrote.
In a follow-up post, the fan shared a screenshot of a text exchange with their mom, confirming there was a “Taylor sighting.”
This marks Swift’s fifth public appearance at a Chiefs game since her engagement to Travis Kelce, and the first time she and Gomez have attended one together.
Aside from Gomez, other celebrities showed their support for the Kansas City Chiefs, including Swift’s longtime friend Lena Dunham. Also spotted in Kelce’s suite was Leonardo DiCaprio.

According to the Daily Mail, Gomez has politely turned down Swift’s multiple invitations to be one of her bridesmaids. The outlet claimed that Gomez is cautious about potentially taking any spotlight from the bride on her big day.
“Taylor asked Selena to be a bridesmaid but Selena told her it could take too much of the focus away from her on her big day,” a source told the outlet. “But Taylor won’t give up. She’s not taking no for an answer. She’s asked Selena a few times and has got a ‘no, but I love you’ reply.”
Despite supposedly turning down Swift’s bridesmaid invitation, Gomez is reportedly preparing a heartwarming speech for her BFF.
“Selena and Benny will definitely be there on Taylor and Travis’ big day,” the insider added. “In fact, Selena’s already worked on her speech, which she’s confiding is a tough job after the beautiful one Taylor did at her wedding.”

According to Page Six, the couple plans to marry on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at the Ocean House in Watch Hill, RI. The outlet noted that it is numerically significant to Swift, as 13 is reportedly her favorite number and her half-birthday is on December 13.
So far, reps for Swift and Kelce have yet to confirm these reports.
