Pop royalty Britney Spears showed off her figure while cruising on a yacht, but the fun ended with an unexpected injury.
In a since-deleted Instagram post, the “Gimme More” singer shared a video of herself in a hot-pink string bikini while aboard a yacht.
Spears, who celebrated her 44th birthday in Mexico, pulled off some sultry poses for the camera, seemingly having a blast. The clip abruptly ended just as the singer untied the back of her top.
“Did a flip off the boat, but I hurt myself,” Spears captioned the post. It’s unclear what exactly happened to the singer.
Shortly after deleting the post, Spears reposted the same video, this time with a different caption. “I’m hungry, what’s cooking???” she wrote.
Britney Spears Suffered Several Injuries in the Past
This isn’t the first time Spears claimed to have injured herself this year. In October, the singer sparked major concern after revealing that she had fallen down the stairs at a friend’s house and broken her leg.
Spears shared a video of herself dancing in sparkly pink lingerie, with bandages on her hands and on one knee. There were also bruises visible on her arms.
In a since-deleted caption, Spears wrote (via Page Six), “This is the way I express myself and pray through art … father who art in heaven … I’m not here for concern or pity, I just want to be a good woman and be better … and I do have wonderful support, so have a brilliant day!
“Psss I fell down the stairs at my friend’s house … it was horrible … it snaps out now and then, not sure if it’s broken but for now it’s snapped in !!!Thank u god!”
Last year, the “Toxic” singer suffered an ankle injury while attempting to “do a leap in the living room” at the Chateau Marmont hotel in Los Angeles.
In an Instagram post, Spears showed off her swollen appendage, adding that “paramedics came to [her] door” and “caused this huge scene.”
At the time, PEOPLE reported that Spears had a fight with Paul Richard Soliz, the man he was first linked to following her split from Sam Asghari.

On November 15, the singer shared a video of their bonding moment in Calabasas, California.
“Such a warm, beautiful, kind family… Thank you for allowing me to play with your kids and dinner!!!” Spears wrote. “It was an honor to spend time with you guys!! Happy Holidays.”
