Sharon Osbourne is baring her heart and making some tender revelations about the love of her life.
The former “Osbournes” star and reality TV veteran is bravely recalling the heartbreaking final moments she shared with her husband, Ozzy Osbourne.
GettyThe Black Sabbath icon died in July at age 76 after suffering a heart attack at their Buckinghamshire home, just weeks after taking the stage for what became his last-ever performance.
Sharon Recounts Ozzy’s Heartbreaking Last Words & Final Workout
In an emotional interview on “Piers Morgan Uncensored,” Sharon said Ozzy seemed unusually restless during their final night together.
“It was like 4.30, and he said, ‘Wake up’. I said, ‘I’m already bloody awake, you’ve woken me up’. And he said, ‘Kiss me’. And then he said, ‘Hug me tight’.”
She said she has replayed those words over and over. “If only I’d have held him tighter.”
Shortly after, Ozzy went downstairs for his early workout routine — something he pushed himself to do even as he battled pneumonia and sepsis in recent months. Twenty minutes later, he collapsed.
‘He Knew. He Was Ready’: Sharon Says Ozzy Felt the End Coming
Vinnie Zuffante/Getty ImagesIn the week leading up to his death, Sharon said Ozzy told her about vivid dreams that felt unlike anything he had experienced.
“He had been having dreams and was seeing people that he never knew,” she said. “He goes, ‘All different people. And I just keep walking and walking, and I’m seeing all these different people every night… and nobody’s talking’. And he knew. He was ready.”
She said she sensed a shift in him after his final performance at Birmingham’s Villa Park. Doctors had warned that the concert might be too much for him, but Ozzy insisted on performing one last time. “He wanted it so bad to say thank you to everyone,” Sharon said. “He honestly did know he was done.”
Sharon Recalls the Moment She Found Him
GettySharon described the heartbreaking moment she reached the gym after hearing shouting from downstairs.
“He had a heart attack,” she said. “I ran downstairs, and there he was, and they were trying to resuscitate him, and I’m like, ‘Don’t — just leave him. Leave him. You can’t. He’s gone’.”
She added, “I knew instantly he’d gone.”
Paramedics transported Ozzy by helicopter, but Sharon said she already knew the outcome. “They tried and tried… and it’s like, ‘He’s gone. Just leave him’.”
The Osbourne Family Finds Comfort in an Outpouring of Love
GettySharon and her children have leaned on each other and on fans as they navigate their grief. On “The Osbournes Podcast,” Kelly said the global response to Ozzy’s death brought unexpected comfort.
“I haven’t seen an outpouring like that since Princess Diana died,” she said. “It’s been so helpful… the rest of the world loved him as much as we did.”
Sharon said Ozzy would have been stunned by the tributes. “He didn’t realise how much he was loved,” she said. “He never took it for granted.”
Messages came from around the world — even from the Oval Office and Buckingham Palace. Sharon shared, “President Trump wrote to me, and then actually His Majesty sent me a letter the next day… he knew Ozzy, and they would always laugh together.”
As Sharon continues to grieve, she said she will never remarry. “For so, so many years, we were intertwined,” she said. “I miss his hand — holding his hand.”

Ozzy was such an amazing person and Sharon is so strong they are so loved by so many. I grew up listening to Ozzy and my boys listen to him now and when my 20 year old son passed away in 2013 we played Momma I’m coming home at his funeral. God Bless you Sharon and the rest of the Osbournes!!!💜
