Taylor Swift Struts in NYC, Wearing Chic $16,000 Outfit

Taylor Swift continues to prove she’s not just a music icon but also a fashion powerhouse.

On Wednesday, the bride-to-be wowed fans and onlookers in New York City as she stepped out in a chic winter look ahead of her “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” stint.

The superstar was spotted arriving for the shoot in an outfit reportedly worth a whopping $16,000, according to fashion writer and Taylor Swift Style creator Sarah Chappell.

Taylor Swift’s Jaw-Dropping Fashion Style

In one of the photos, Swift looked winter-ready in her Max Mara “Olga” coat, priced at $3,730. She also opted for a $1,890 Miu Miu plaid miniskirt and $2,195 Christian Louboutin knee-high boots.

Swift accessorized the look with 18K pear-shaped diamond drop earrings by NYC-based designer Etiq, priced at $8,500. She also matched her bold lipstick with a stunning red YSL handbag, which costs $1,300.

Swift’s high-fashion look carried over on-camera during her interview with Colbert. For the episode, the “Opalite” singer traded her cozy winter attire for a more glamorous style.

Swift wowed in a $1,695 burgundy velvet David Koma dress, paired with $940 Dangerous Liaisons 105 velvet pumps. She elevated the look with an 18K yellow gold diamond and ruby necklace valued at approximately $80,000.

Swift’s latest outfit drew rave reviews from fans, many of whom shared their excitement in the comments.

One fan wrote, “Why is she always perfection?” while another chimed in, “Suuuuuuch a good look!!! So elegant and soft, perfect for the holidays.”

Another commented, “I just do not know how she manages to look so incredibly beautiful and photogenic in every shot!”

Someone added, “No one loves a plaid skirt as much as Taylor loves a plaid skirt.”

Taylor Swift’s Success Keeps Coming Left and Right

Swift’s appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” comes just days before the premiere of her six-episode documentary, “The End of an Era” and “The Eras Tour: The Final Show.” Both series are set to premiere on Disney+ on December 12.

Aside from her highly anticipated documentaries, Swift’s “The Life of a Showgirl” shines as the No. 1 title on the 2025 year-end Billboard 200 Albums chart.

According to Billboard, Swift dominated the roundup for the fifth time and remains the only artist to have a year-end No. 1 Billboard 200 album more than three times.

Last year, Swift topped the year-end Billboard 200 Albums chart with “The Tortured Poets Department.”
