Gordon Ramsay has a slew of celebrity friends, many of whom are involved in the culinary world like he is. However, his most high-profile chum is arguably the former soccer player and global superstar, Sir David Beckham.
Celebrity chef, restaurateur, television presenter, and writer Ramsay, 59, enjoys watching Formula One events. He was in Nevada on November 22 for the Grand Prix of Las Vegas. There, he mingled with the stars in attendance, including Terry Crews and Cynthia Erivo.
This past weekend, however, on November 30, he was in West Asia for the Qatar Grand Prix. He reunited with old pal Beckham at the event. Ramsay later shared footage from behind the scenes of his trip on his Instagram account.
Gordon Ramsay Says It Was ‘Great’ to See David Beckham in Qatar
The 38-second video is captioned, “What an incredible Qatar @f1 Gran Prix !! Great job by the Gordon Ramsay at F1 Garage team and great to see you @davidbeckham. Now on to the next race to crown a champion 👀.”
In it, Ramsay is seen greeting and speaking to David Beckham at the Lusail International Circuit in Lusail, Qatar, while the pair also pose for some photographs together.
Additionally, Ramsay is seen mingling with personalities from the F1 world, and hanging around behind-the-scenes with headphones on in front of some very technical looking equipment.
There’s also footage of the delicious food that was served at the “Gordon Ramsay at F1 Garage” — a unique hospitality experience that’s a collaboration between Gordon Ramsay’s restaurants and the Formula One World Championships.
All things considered, it looked like he had a fabulous time.
Ramsay and Beckham Have Been Pals for Some Time

Ramsay’s fans and followers had much to say about his video in the comments section — including some referring to Beckham’s presence.

Gordon Ramsay’s friendship with the former England international midfielder seems very sweet, and he loves to tell people about it — and why wouldn’t he? It’s David “Golden Balls” Beckham, after all.
