‘Tournament of Champions: All-Star Christmas’ – Live Finale Recap & Winner Announcement

Get ready, the “Tournament of Champions: All-Star Christmas” finale showdown starts soon; at 8:00pm ET on Food Network and we’re live-tracking every chaotic, delightful, Guy Fieri-fueled moment.

TOC is About to Shake Things Up

Four powerhouse duos are about to jump back into the arena for a shot at the TOC trophy and major bragging rights. But let’s be real; it’s that massive bag of holiday cash (including some for charity) that has everyone paying attention. High stakes, wild ingredients, and enough pressure to melt a snowman; yep, it’s very much a TOC kind of night.

Now here’s the plot twist that makes this Holiday special even juicier. Every past season of the show has seen a female competitor take home the win. But this time around? Not likely. For the first time in TOC history a man has better odds of claiming the win (as only one woman remains on a team). That alone adds a whole new layer of suspense to tonight’s semi-finals and finale.

So grab your snacks and get cozy; it seems like we’re in for a wild ride.

WARNING: From this point on this post does contain spoilers and is being updated live as “Tournament of Champions: All-Star Christmas” Season 1, Episode 6 entitled “A Christmas Champion Is Crowned,” airs tonight.

So, keep refreshing the page to get all the latest updates including scores, eliminations, and the finale results.

The Final Four Teams & The Judges

Who is battling for the win tonight in the “Tournament of Champions: All-Star Christmas” finale?

  • Michael Voltaggio & Bryan Voltaggio
  • Kevin Lee & Dale Talde

  • Tobias Dorzon & Marcel Vigneron

The Judges: Chef Jacques Torres, Chef Lorena Garcia, Iron Chef Cat Cora, and Chef Nancy Silverton.

Let the Chaos (and Cooking) Begin

The first battle of the night features Kevin Lee & Dale Talde going up against Jet Tila & Ashley Holt.

The Randomizer has done what it always does and given the chefs pure crazy to work with.

  • Savory Dish Ingredient: Prime Rib
  • Sweet Dish Ingredient: Guava
  • Equipment: Cookie Press
  • Style: Red
  • Wildcard Ingredient: Marzipan Pigs

They have 2 minutes to confer and 45 minutes to cook.

What Happened in the Arena? In one kitchen we had Kevin doing the savory dish, a Tteokbokki with Prime Rib Ragu, while Dale created the sweet dish, a Guava Halo-Halo. On the other side of the arena Jet made the savory dish, a Char Siu Prime Rib, while Ashley created the sweet dish, a Guava Tart.

The Scores: 85 and 86, with team Jet Tila & Ashley Holt taking the win. They’ll move on to battle again tonight. Against who? Let’s find out.

The Semi-Finals Continue

The second battle of the night features brothers, Michael Voltaggio & Bryan Voltaggio, going up against wildcard team, Tobias Dorzon & Marcel Vigneron.

Against all odds, The Randomizer decided to be somewhat reasonable, giving the semi-finalists something they could actually work with.

  • Savory Dish Ingredient: Leg of Lamb
  • Sweet Dish Ingredient: Blonde Chocolate
  • Equipment: Rosette Iron
  • Style: Green
  • Wildcard Ingredient: Eggnog

Again, they have 2 minutes to confer and 45 minutes to cook.

What Happened in the Arena? In one kitchen we had Bryan doing the savory dish, Lamb Meatballs with Green Curry, while Michael created the sweet dish, a Pistachio Air Cake. On the other side of the arena Tobias made the savory dish, a Braised Lamb with Cheesy-Nog Grits, while Marcel created the sweet dish, an Eggnog Ice Cream with Mint.

The Scores: 79 and 95, with team Michael Voltaggio & Bryan Voltaggio taking the win. They’ll move on to battle in the finale.

Who Will Take the Trophy & Big Bucks?

Here we go; the finale is underway. The two winning teams are back on the floor and they look locked in. And everything has officially leveled up. This is the round where somebody makes TOC history as the first “All-Star Christmas” champion.

Michael Voltaggio & Bryan Voltaggio vs Jet Tila & Ashley Holt

Once again, The Randomizer said “good luck” and hurled absolute culinary mayhem at the chefs for the finale battle.

  • Savory Dish Ingredient: Pork Rib Roast
  • Sweet Dish Ingredient: Red Currants
  • Equipment: Smoking Gun
  • Style: Black Tie
  • And the Wildcard comes with special Nice, Naughty, or Naughty & Nice options. They get Nice and are given a gift that contains a chocolate advent calendar, which must be used in the dishes.

What Happened in the Arena? In one kitchen we had Jet doing the savory dish, Pork Chops in Thai Mole, while Ashley created the sweet dish, a Smoked Eton Mess. On the other side of the arena Bryan made the savory dish, Pork with Smoked Mushroom Cigar, while Michael created the sweet dish, a Smoked Chocolate Ganache Tart.

Final Scores: 88 and 98 (highest score in TOC history).

And We Have a Winner!

The finale is wrapped, and the first-ever “Tournament of Champions: All-Star Christmas” winners are Michael Voltaggio & Bryan Voltaggio

Let’s get real; these chefs crushed that finale challenge, grabbed the trophy, and walked away with the $100,000 to split, plus $50,000 cash for their chosen charity. Not a bad way to celebrate the season.

History was made tonight, and it seems like the TOC arena kitchen may never be the same.

And stay tuned, Guy Fieri mentioned Season 7 of “Tournament of Champions” is on the way…
