“Bachelor” season 24 winner Hannah Ann Sluss welcomed her first child to the world, commemorating the life stage with an Instagram post.
The new mom originally announced her pregnancy just a few months ago, in June 2025. She had found out the happy news during a trip to Dubai.
Her baby boy, whom she had with husband Jake Funk, is named Lucas James Funk. His first name is a nod to the couple’s engagement spot, Cabo San Lucas, while his middle name is honoring Jake’s father.
Lucas was born on November 20, 2025.
‘Bachelor’ Nation Showed Support
GettyMany “Bachelor” Nation alums showed their support in Hannah Ann’s comment section. Daisy Kent, the runner up on Joey’s season, wrote, “So happy for you & your little fam 🥹💙.” Amanda Stanton, who got engaged on “Bachelor in Paradise” season three, wrote, “Congratulations! Welcome to the world sweet Lucas 🥹🫶🏻.”
Victoria Fuller, the “Bachelor in Paradise” season eight winner, also shared her emotional feelings, calling Lucas her “nephew.” “I’m so incredibly proud of you 🤍 you’re the best mom to Lucas already. Can’t wait to squeeze my nephew. Love you all more than words,” she wrote.
Fans also took to the comments to express their delight with the announcement. One fan wrote, “He is absolutely beautiful and perfect.” Another posted, “My entire body filled with goosebumps when I read this. How beautiful.”
Hannah Ann Sluss’s ‘Bachelor’ Journey
GettyIn 2019, Hannah Ann took a leap of faith and agreed to compete on “The Bachelor” season 24, during which time she vied for Peter Weber’s (aka Pilot Pete) heart. Her journey was off to a great start, with Hannah Ann winning the first impression rose.
She and Peter’s connection took her all the way to the end, where she ultimately earned the final rose and accepted Peter’s proposal. This made Hannah Ann the only woman in the history of “The Bachelor” to both with the first impression rose and win the whole season.
Unfortunately, the relationship wasn’t built to last. By the time they filmed “After the Final Rose,” Peter and Hannah Ann’s relationship was over. To add insult to injury, Peter admitted he called off the engagement because he was still in love with his runner-up, Madison Prewett.
Luckily, Hannah Ann found love outside of reality TV. She’s now married, and we’re wishing her and her husband all the best as they embark on their parenthood journey.
