‘RHONY’ Alum Luann de Lesseps Shoots Her Shot at ‘The Golden Bachelorette’

Luann de Lesseps isn’t just flirting with reinvention, she’s eyeing her next big romantic adventure. While reflecting on her decades-long reality TV reign, the “Real Housewives of New York” icon lit up at the idea of becoming “The Golden Bachelorette.” De Lesseps declared she’d “love to” hand out roses to a house full of eligible suitors.

With her signature confidence, endless charisma, and a dating life that’s anything but dull, the Countess made it clear: if producers are looking for a glamorous, unfiltered, and romance-ready lead, she’s more than prepared to step into the spotlight once again.

The Countess as the Next ‘Golden Bachelorette’?

The former “RHONY” star sat down and talked with Us Weekly, covering her love life, her exes, her cabaret show, and her take on the latest “RHONY” cast. However, she may have shocked many people when asked about “The Golden Bachelorette.”

When asked if she would ever consider being on “The Golden Bachelorette,” the 60-year-old said, “Hell, yeah, I’d love to; that would be great. Throw those boys at me, I’m ready!”

Producers, pay attention. You might hit a ratings win by casting De Lesseps as the lead.

Will There Be a Season 2 of ‘The Golden Bachelorette’?

ABC has not confirmed a second season of “The Golden Bachelorette” yet, so Luann may not even get a chance to be the lead. However, there have been commercials by ABC regarding casting, so it appears there will be a second season.

While many fans of the show are rooting for Debbie Siebers to be named the new Golden Bachelorette after competing for that final rose from Mel Owens during “The Golden Bachelor” season 2.

To be honest, the network often does pick contestants from the franchise to be the lead. However, Taylor Frankie Paul was chosen as “The Bachelorette” for season 22, so it is possible. Keep the faith, Luann.

Living Her Best Life

Whether she gets “The Golden Bachelorette” or not, the Countess is living her best life. While she’s not thrilled about turning 60, she is embracing it.

De Lesseps told Us Weekly, “I’m living my best life, and there just happens to be a six in front of my age. I’m not thrilled about it. But it doesn’t interfere with the way I live my life.”

For those women struggling in midlife who want to thrive like Luann, she has some simple advice.

“If you don’t think you’re great, nobody else will. Being interested is what makes you interesting,” the “RHONY” alum said. “Put yourself in the right place, and you can draw attention and chemistry around you. Just say yes.”
