Gwen Stefani Sends a Clear Message About All That Blake Shelton Split Speculation

Gwen Stefani brought major sparkle to the red carpet this week — and her jewelry did more than turn heads. It also doubled as a not-so-subtle message to fans questioning the state of her marriage to Blake Shelton. The “The Voice” alum arrived at the “Oh. What. Fun” premiere in New York City on Tuesday night wearing a collection of eye-catching rings, including her wedding band and Shelton’s massive engagement ring, in what many interpreted as a pointed reminder that the couple is still very much together.

Stefani, 56, stepped onto the carpet in a dramatic black corseted gown with a green tulle overlay, amplifying the glam with stacked gold bangles, a bold cross pendant, soft curls, and a pink manicure. But it was the lineup of rings that caught the most attention — and immediately sparked conversation online.

Gwen Stefani Shuts Down Split Rumors With Symbolic Jewelry

Stefani’s left hand featured her multi-carat engagement ring and pear-shaped diamond wedding band from Shelton, 49. She also wore an emerald-and-diamond halo ring gifted by Shelton for Valentine’s Day 2024, per Us Weekly.

Her right hand was equally decorated with a large two-halo diamond ring, a pink three-stone sparkler, and a double-headed diamond pinky ring. It was a statement — literally and symbolically — that spoke louder than any caption.

The jewelry display comes after months of fan speculation that Stefani and Shelton were heading for a split. The rumors intensified after the couple released their breakup duet “Hangin’ On” earlier this year and then skipped the 2025 CMA Awards together, despite Shelton being nominated for Musical Event of the Year for “Pour Me a Drink” with Post Malone.

A source told E! News the pair planned to “watch the CMA on their TV this year,” without giving further explanation.

Shelton later addressed concerns about his emotional lyrics in an interview with Access Hollywood, saying the somber tone was not a reflection of their relationship.

“It’s really no reflection of where Gwen and I are in our relationship — I hope,” Shelton joked.

Despite the conversation swirling around them, Shelton had a successful year professionally. His “Pour Me a Drink” collaboration took home CMA Musical Event of the Year, even though he wasn’t present at the ceremony.

While fans pointed out that Stefani hadn’t shared a photo with Shelton since June, she ended the speculation in November with a PDA-filled Instagram Story. In the image, Shelton leaned in to kiss Stefani’s cheek as she smiled into the camera — a direct answer to the headlines.

Shelton’s rep also firmly denied breakup rumors, telling Page Six, “This is a completely made-up story created solely for headlines and clicks.”

Stefani herself offered insight into her marriage earlier this year during “The Drew Barrymore Show,” where she revealed she leans on faith within her relationship.

She told Barrymore she relies on “a third party” in her marriage — pointing upward to imply God — and added that spirituality helps guide her partnership with Shelton.
