Singer and former “The Voice” advisor Jewel recently enjoyed some time in the sun while visiting Barbuda. Before returning to the wintery weather back home, she shared a few shots from her vacation. That includes a pair of photos showing the 51-year-old star without any makeup and wearing a bikini.
Posting the pics to Instagram on Monday, December 8, she took to the caption to write, “#Barbuda for a few days of sun before more winter snow.”
In the first shot, Jewel can be seen on a dreamy stretch of sand with the blue water and stunning sky behind her. As she smiles at the camera, she stands proudly while wearing an animal print two-piece swimsuit and zero makeup.
The second pic shows her taking a selfie while inside and looking just as fantastic.

Jewel Has Opened Up About Aging
Back in November 2021, Jewel also shared a post on Instagram that showed her in a radiant red swimsuit (and adorable heart-shaped sunglasses). She also popped up a caption that included her thoughts on aging.
“I wasn’t sure what getting older would feel like. I was never afraid of it luckily,” she wrote. “I’ve loved every year. But in my business and the world, really, Is not kind to aging women.”
She went on to add, “So when it came to aging, I knew where I stood on it: take care of myself. Eat well. Drink water. Rest. And bring it on! My skin is changing. Gravity definitely takes its toll 😅. But I’m surprised by how good I feel. How vital. How happy. How healthy. And yeah, I feel sexy. 💃🏽”
“So to any young women reading this: be kind to yourself. Enjoy the hell out of your life. Sleep with who you want, because you want to. Not because you need to feel validated. Eat what you want because you want to— not because your afraid of how it will look on you. Your worth lies in your wisdom and your joy. Don’t be bullied out of enjoying your own life! Feel the sensuous joy of being alive. And absorb every single bit of pleasure out of this life— [you’re] worth it!”
