“The Voice” coach Kelly Clarkson will kickoff the NFL Christmas Gameday on Netflix, according to Tudum. Clarkson will perform her iconic upbeat Christmas song, “Underneath the Tree.” Unfortunately, it doesn’t sound like the prolific singer will entertain fans with more than one song, but everyone will have to tune in on December 24, 2025 to find out for certain.

How To Watch Kelly Clarkson’s NFL Performance

Kelly Clarkson fans will need a Netflix account to watch the special performance. The first teams playing, the Dallas Cowboys vs. the Washington Commanders, will kick off at 1 p.m. ET. Later, at 4:30 p.m. ET, the Detroit Lions will face-off against the Minnesota Vikings.

It should be noted that Clarkson will not be the halftime performer, she will simply open the festivities with her much-streamed Christmas tune. Netflix has yet to announce a halftime performer.

Clarkson is the perfect singer to dazzle audiences on Christmas day. Not only has she released an entire album of holiday songs, Clarkson is a Texas native who has often shown support for the Dallas Cowboys. She even recorded a Cowboys anthem called “Get Up” in 2015.

In an official video announcing the performance, Clarkson reiterated her love of football. “Two great football games on Christmas day?,” she said. “That’s a present we can all enjoy.”

Despite no longer coaching on NBC’s “The Voice,” Clarkson has kept herself busy. In addition to performing on Netflix’s upcoming NFL stream, the “Because of You” singer hosts a self-titled daytime talk show on NBC.

Clarkson also released a new album not too long ago. “Chemistry” came out in 2023, and Clarkson described the new release is about “the arc of an entire relationship,” according to a video the artist released on X (fka Twitter).

The album featured references to her past songs, specifically “Piece By Piece.” In “Rock Hudson,” Clarkson sings, “By the way, piece by piece I found out my hero’s me,” giving a bookend to one of her more famous songs.

Clarkso is also a mother to two children with her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock. The two got divorced in 2022. Yet, when Blackstock was diagnosed with cancer, Clarkson cared for him until his untimely death, according to Page Six. To do so, Clarkson had taken time away from her talk show. Luckily, she’s now back on TV, bringing joy to all who tune in.

On December 10, 2025, the 36-year-old straddled the sand and gave sultry eyes to the camera in a post which she captioned, “I’m moving to a private island, who is coming with?” In the second slide of the Instagram Carousel, she gave her fans a view from the back as she confidently rocked a thong one-piece. The songstress also included an underwater shot that showed her swimming through the surf like a mermaid.

Rexha was involved with “The Voice” as a “Comeback Stage” coach in season 16, and an advisor for Team Blake in season 18. Her involvement with the country superstar’s crew came three years after her well-received foray into the genre her 2017 hit “Meant to Be.”

A few days before she posed in the colorful one-piece, the starlet worshipped the sun in a black thong bikini with puka shell accents on the top. She shaded her eyes with a cap as she frolicked in the water.

In a 2023 appearance on the “Jennifer Hudson Show,” the Albanian beauty talked about how she learned to embrace her body amid weight fluctuations and a challenging health diagnosis. She told the “Dream Girls” star she was scrolling TikTok when she stumbled upon a video of herself, and decided to read the comments. She noticed the first search suggestion at the top was the term “Bebe Rexha weight gain.” She went on, “We’re in the public eye, so that’s bound to happen. I was a lot thinner, and I did gain some weight. That comes with a territory, I’m not mad about it. But you don’t know what somebody’s going through in their life.”

The talk show audience applauded as Rexha declared, “We should not be talking about people’s weight. ” She then laughed, “I like to eat,” before turning more serious. “I went to the doctor last year. A lot of women actually have this and they don’t know about it. I was diagnosed with PCOS, which is polycystic ovary syndrome,” she revealed.

The musician explained the condition is one of the leading causes why women gain weight. The Cleveland Clinic says the ailment affects the hormones can cause irregular menstrual periods, excess hair growth, acne and infertility.

Rexha concluded, “I jumped like 30 pounds so quickly. Maybe more. We gotta just be positive and show people love.”

Michael Bublé and Carson Daly, co-stars on NBC’s “The Voice,” are still trying to process the past weekend, after meeting Pope Leo XIV twice at the Vatican on December 5 and 6, 2025. Both raised Catholic, Bublé invited Daly to attend his performance at the Concert With the Poor, but neither realized just how deeply the trip — and meeting the Pope in particular — would impact them.

“Nothing prepares you for this,” Bublé wrote on December 10 over a social media video of him as a child on the day of his First Communion, and then at the Vatican decades later, speaking to Pope Leo.

“Standing in the Vatican with my family, meeting the Pope, and performing for such beautiful souls is something I will carry with me forever,” the crooner wrote in his caption, while Daly also reflected on the impact of the trip in an essay for NBC, in which he wrote that he and Bublé “both kept asking each other: How in the world did this just happen?”

After returning to the U.S., Daly shared that Bublé invited him and his wife Siri to accompany his family to the Vatican, writing in an essay for NBC that he and Bublé “share not only the love of music, but also a deep Catholic faith.”

Daly continued, “Both altar boys growing up, he was the first person I exchanged texts with when the white smoke appeared over the Vatican on May 8, 2025, and a new pope was revealed. The first American pope: Pope Leo XIV.”

On December 6, one day after meeting the Pope for the first time, Daly wrote that at the concert that Bublé headlined for “3,000 beautiful, disadvantaged people from all over the world,” the Pope “sat 10 feet away from us.”

To start, the coaches each got to pick one of their artists as their Mic Drop from the Knockouts. The four artists selected were:

• YOSHIHANAA from Team Snoop

From there, America had a chance to vote for its favorite artist. Whoever got the most votes would win a chance to perform at the Rose Bowl Parade.

Night 2 of Playoffs

The Mic Drop results were delivered during Night 2 of the Playoffs on “The Voice” season 28. Up tonight, we saw Team Niall and Team Snoop take the stage for a chance at performing in the Voice Finale next week.

The pressure was on, but all of the artists brought it. In the end, Niall and Snoop had to choose one artist to make the finale. America now gets to vote for the remaining artists, with one of them making the Voice Finale also.

While we wait for those results on “The Voice” tonight, we do know that DEK of Hearts will be having more time together after the show ends. Whether or not they make the finale, they will be getting even more exposure from the show.

The country trio, whose harmonies are out of this world, will be taking center stage for the Rose Bowl Parade. They are clearly one of my favorites, and Reba said they should win it all this season. She isn’t even their coach, and she is rooting for them. That tells you how strong a group they are.

Time for Night 2 of the Playoffs. We have Team Snoop and Team Niall tonight. Let’s get this performance started!

YOSHIHANAA – Team Snoop

Snoop said she is one of the strongest vocalists in the competition. He thinks she can win it all. For this performance, she is singing “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going” by Jennifer Holliday.

This is a huge song choice, but YOSHIHANAA has the voice that can bring it. She owns the stage, and her voice is so powerful. So many big notes! A very strong start to the night!

Coaches’ Feedback: Niall said incredible performance, yet again. Michael said she was clutch city. Snoop said he is so proud of her and so honored to have her on his team.

Kirbi – Team Niall

Niall said she took the next step in the Knockouts. She said she is one step away from the live show, so she is going to give it her all tonight on “The Voice” season 28. For this performance, she is singing “Bruises” by Lewis Capaldi.

This is Niall’s pal’s song, so he should be happy to hear it. She has that nasally sound to her voice, but it works. It’s a slow song, but she has good control of her tone.

Coaches’ Feedback: Reba said that it was so beautiful. Everything about her voice is so pure, and she just loved her performance. Niall said he is so proud of her, and she doesn’t realize how good she is.

Mindy Miller – Team Snoop on ‘The Voice’

Snoop blocked Reba on Mindy, which made him very happy. He thinks she is a country superstar. For this performance, she is singing “Not Ready to Make Nice” by The Chicks.

This was another strong song choice. She sounds very good on it. I love this song, and I think she did justice to it. Mindy is a very strong country singer, and she ends it so softly, which I enjoyed.

Coaches’ Feedback: Reba said once again, she knocked it out of the ballpark. Her vocal is music to my ears. Snoop said he is a proud coach, and he is excited to have her on his team.

Aiden Ross – Team Niall

Niall said he can see a lot of himself in Aiden. He said making it to the finale would show him he can do more than sing at the farm. For this performance, he is singing “The Blower’s Daughter” by Damien Rice.

Yes, he is 20 years old, but his voice is so seasoned. This kid is singing on the farm? He sounded so confident on that stage, and it was a great song choice for him.

Coaches’ Feedback: Snoop said his performance tonight proved there is no decision but him through to the finals. Niall said it’s not what you can’t do, but what you should do. Congrats, great job.

Ava Nat on Team Niall

Niall said she is 18, but sounds like a veteran. He said she has a way of selling a song, like no other. For this performance, she is singing “Ceilings” by Lizzy McAlpine.

This is a simple song. She has a good sound to her voice, but it was a slow one for me. She hits some bigger notes as the song takes off, but it started too slowly for me.

Coaches’ Feedback: Snoop said she sounds amazing, and he was thoroughly impressed. Reba said she looked calm, and she was soaring at the end of the song. Niall said her ability to tell a story is beyond belief.

Toni Lorene – Team Snoop

She said she has grown with every performance, and she is standing in that confidence tonight. Snoop told her to stand in that confidence and bring it home. For this performance, she is singing “Bust Your Windows” by Jazmine Sullivan.

Yeah, this song has a lot of big notes in it, and Toni does a great job with them. It was a solid song choice, and she was singing with some confidence and sass. I enjoyed it.

Coaches’ Feedback: Michael said that it was amazing, and what a choice of song too. Niall said he wasn’t scared of her before this. Snoop said he has tears of joy.

DEK of Hearts – Team Niall

Niall said they are the harmony experts, and when they go together, it’s so beautiful. They said their bond and friendship have grown during this process. For this performance, they are singing “Helplessly Hoping” by David Crosby, Graham Nash, and Stephen Stills.

It’s such a soft and sweet song, but yes, their harmonies are out of this world. They sound so good together, and this was such a strong song choice. It got to show us all how good singers they are. I loved it.

Coaches: Feedback: Reba said can they do that 30 more times? She thinks they all should win this. Snoop said there is no one like them. Niall said it’s amazing how great their harmony is.

Ralph Edwards – Team Snoop

Snoop said he is his showstopping singer. He said he could put out records and compete with Jelly Roll and Teddy Swims. For this performance, he sings “For A Song For You” by Donny Hathaway.

They call him Wreck-It Ralph, and he just smashed his way through this song. His voice is so good. He hits some big notes, and I just loved how he sounds. He definitely has that Teddy Swims and Jelly Roll vibe, as Snoop said. This was so good.

Coaches’ Feedback: Niall said he can’t speak after that. Michael said he is the voice. Snoop was brought to tears. He said he touched him tonight.

The Playoffs Come to an End on ‘The Voice’ Tonight

We had new rules with the Playoffs on “The Voice” season 28. Each coach will have to select one artist from their team to win the Playoffs and represent them in the Live Finale. America will then get to vote on the artists that don’t get selected by their coaches, and one of them each week will also make it to the Live Finale, so a total of six artists will perform in the two-night season 28 finale next week.

The Playoffs have started for Week 2, as we have Team Snoop and Team Niall having their artists perform tonight. We will share updates as the episode airs tonight!

9:19 p.m. – The performances have started for the night. So far, we have seen YOSHIHANAA and Mindy Miller perform for Team Snoop and Kirbi for Team Niall.

9:34 p.m. – Another two artists have performed. It was Aiden Ross from Team Niall singing “The Blower’s Daughter” by Damien Rice. Then, it was Ava Nat from Team Niall singing “Ceilings” by Lizzy McAlpine.

9:48 p.m. – Another two artists have performed. It was Toni Lorene from Team Snoop singing “Bust Your Windows” by Jazmine Sullivan. Then, it was DEK of Hearts from Team Niall singing “Helplessly Hoping” by David Crosby, Graham Nash, and Stephen Stills.

9:56 p.m. – The final artist has performed. We saw Ralph Edwards perform “A Song For You” by Donny Hathaway. The Mic Drop winner was also announced tonight!
