Shep Rose Debuts His New $3.25 Million Historic Home on ‘Southern Charm’

On the Dec. 3 episode of Bravo’s “Southern Charm,” Shep Rose took viewers inside his new home on Sullivan’s Island, a beautiful and historic house that’s less than a 15-minute drive from his bachelor pad on the Isle of Palms, in Charleston, South Carolina.

Rose’s new four-bedroom, four-bathroom historic home came with a hefty price tag, costing him $3.25 million. Interestingly, he was not the only cast member making major real estate moves this season.

Shep Rose Showcases His New Home on Sullivan’s Island on ‘Southern Charm’

Shep Rose is making major changes in his life, including moving out of his bachelor pad on the Isle of Palms and into a bigger historic home on Sullivan’s Island.

On the Dec. 3 episode of “Southern Charm,” Rose detailed the move, sharing, “I recently bought this new house, because I just wanted a house on Sullivan’s Island, which is one of my favorite places in the world.”

According to Rose, seeing his siblings start families and move into larger homes made him rethink his own living situation. He admitted there might have been a little family pressure for him to do the same one day.

“My parents were a big factor in me getting the house. My brother bought a big house with his two kids and wife. My sister, same thing. So for them, the normal trajectory of a guy’s life…I’m 10 years behind, maybe 15,” he shared.

He added, “It’s bigger. It’s like historical. Four bedrooms. Four baths. And I don’t know what to put in it.” Thankfully, Shep had some big help from Rodrigo Reyes when it came to decorating his new house.

Rose’s Co-Stars Helped Him Choose the Historic Home

According to Realtor, which shared numerous photos of Rose’s new home, he purchased the 3,000-square-foot 1920s home back in June, which is when filming of season 11 began. Rose shared with the outlet that it was time for “an upgrade” and move away from his bachelor pad.

“It’s time to get a little bit nicer stuff because when you do that, when you invest in a home, investing in nice furniture, all this stuff, it incentivizes you to be a grown-up and to treat things better and be more mindful,” he shared.

His mom was influential in helping him choose the home. “You know how things always work out? My mom said when I sent her the pictures and videos of walking through [this] house, she’s like, “That’s you. That’s where you should be.” It’s very laid-back, sort of old-school beachy, not pretentious. I love it,” he added.

Rose also turned to co-stars Whitney Sudler-Smith and Craig Conover for feedback on the property, and both immediately saw why it was ideal for him, especially its proximity to the beach.

“You got to get this house. This is you,” Sudler-Smith told him. Speaking to Conover, he shared, “You wanted to live on the beach and you wanted to have, you know, a nice home.” I was like, “Well, I kind of was doing that.” He’s like, “Yeah, but this is better.” And he’s right. It is better.”

Madison LeCroy Purchased a $3.9 Million Home on Daniel Island

On the Dec. 3 episode, Madison LeCroy also shared that she and her husband, Brett Randle, had also purchased a new home “which is just around the corner” from their starter home on South Carolina’s Daniel Island.

LeCroy and Randle were seen touring their new “forever” home — a 5,000-square-foot property with six bedrooms and seven bathrooms, which also included an outdoor pool. The home had a price tag of $3.9 million.

In a confessional, LeCroy shared. “It’s charming. It’s exactly like what everybody wants. I know it is a high price, trust me, but honestly, the house is just, it’s perfect.”
