Madison LeCroy asked Andy Cohen why he brought her up during an interview with Jennifer Lopez.
More than two years after claiming Lopez’s former fiancé, Alex Rodriguez, slid into her DMs when he was engaged, the “Southern Charm” star called out Cohen for asking the singer about it in an interview.
“That was weird,” LeCroy, 35, playfully told Cohen on the December 3 episode of “Watch What Happens Live.” “Why’d you do that?”
Cohen had the perfect response as he noted that he took one for the team. “Why did I do it? How could I not do it?” he said. “I owed it to the ‘Southern Charm’ fans.”

LeCroy, who was a guest on WWHL with her ex, Austen Kroll, told Cohen that she didn’t believe it was Rodriguez when she first allegedly received messages from him several years ago.
“Austen can vouch for me on this,” she said. “When that all transpired, [Austen] would write the messages for me because we didn’t believe it actually was him. To clear it up, I never met that man — never, ever, ever. So, we’re done.”
Kroll recalled one of the alleged messages. “I remember we were in a Chick-Fil-A drive-thru, and you’re, like, ‘Look,’” Kroll said. “I was, like, ‘What in the world? He’s trying to fly her coach.”
When LeCroy said she “didn’t remember” Rodriguez offering to buy her a plane ticket, Kroll said, “Yes, you do.”
“And hence, why we didn’t meet!” she laughed.

Lopez, who ended her engagement to Rodriguez in 2021, was a guest on the Oct. 15 episode of “Watch What Happens Live.”
During a game of “Plead the Fifth,” Cohen asked her a question that fans were dying to know. “The Bravoverse will kill me if I do not ask this next question,” he told the singer. “It came up at a ‘Southern Charm’ reunion a few years ago…that your ex A-Rod was DMing one of the cast members. There was a lot of speculation in the press or on this show that somehow led to your breakup. Is there anything you can speak to about that?”
Lopez calmly replied with, “You know, I really have nothing to say about my personal life anymore. I feel like I’m done with that.”
She also thanked the audience for supporting her.
Rodriguez previously denied contacting LeCroy after his relationship with Lopez ended in 2021. A rep for the MLB star told Us Weekly the stories about him and LeCroy were “false.”
