Steven McBee Jr. is entering a new chapter — one filled with clarity, closure, and a brand-new relationship. But the star of “The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys” is also finally revealing where things stand with his ex-girlfriend Calah Jackson, and his answer may surprise fans who watched their roller-coaster romance unfold on the series.
McBee Jr., 32, hard-launched his relationship with influencer Allie Eklund in November, posting PDA-filled photos and proclaiming, “Never been so certain.” But during BravoCon 2025 in Las Vegas, he exclusively told The Daily Dish that his past relationship with Jackson is officially behind him — emotionally, financially, and otherwise.

Despite fans witnessing plenty of tension between Calah and the McBee family — and a dramatic season 2 ending that involved Calah standing Steven up at Jesse McBee and Alli McBee’s wedding — Steven says there’s no lingering bitterness.
“Everything is 100 percent done and has been for a little bit now,” Steven said. “I have not talked to her since then. But I wish her nothing but the best. Obviously, I still care about her so much and want nothing but the best for her.”
McBee Jr. also confirmed he is no longer financially supporting his ex. “I’m not paying for the car or the apartment anymore,” he said.
For fans who followed their three-year relationship, the breakup played out across seasons 1 and 2. Calah struggled to win over the McBee family, with Steven’s mother, Kristi McBee, at one point calling her a “gold digger,” and a blowout argument between Calah and Cole McBee in the Ozarks ultimately became “the final straw.”
Steven later told Bravo the split was painful to relive once episodes aired.
“Watching everything play back is hard… it brings back the emotions of that time period,” he said. “She’s an incredible woman, and we have so many great memories together.”

As for what’s next? Steven is officially off the market.
On November 3, he debuted his relationship with influencer Allie Eklund on Instagram. The couple shared photos from the Community Services League’s Luminous Gala — their red carpet debut — with Eklund captioning one image, “My hot date and host.”
The McBee family immediately showed their approval.
“Smartest thing you’ve ever done,” Kacie Adkison wrote.
Alli Ventresca added, “Summer and I approve for Uncle Steven.”
Steven even revealed how the romance began, crediting friend William Van Orsdel for helping him finally lock down a date after sliding into Eklund’s DMs.
“Went from a dm (actually dm’s*) floating in Allie’s inbox to actually getting a date locked down thanks to Will,” Steven joked.
