“The McBee Dynasty” star Jesse McBee is embracing life as a husband, father, and reality star — and according to him, things inside the McBee household are getting busier by the minute.
The second-oldest McBee brother, who grew up on the family farm in Gallatin, Missouri, says the couple has finally found stability after season 2 documented their struggle to choose where to live. And now with Summer growing fast, the McBees are settling into their future — one long commute and baby milestone at a time.
Jesse McBee Updates Fans on His Living Arrangement With Alli
Jesse told The Daily Dish that he and Alli have ironed out the living debate that once nearly became a dealbreaker during season 2.
“We’re still doing a split commute,” Jesse said. “Except we’re doing it together.”
Alli works as a nurse practitioner in Kansas City, while Jesse’s life remains anchored on the family farm — a one-hour drive north. Instead of choosing one home, the couple chose both.
“We’re either at the farm together or at our city house together,” he explained. “So, we’ve worked that out.”
Season 2 viewers saw the couple struggle with the emotional and practical challenges of balancing two homes. Jesse previously admitted that the stress of the wedding, years of dating, and secretly learning they were expecting a baby girl all hit him at once during filming.
“We didn’t tell anybody… so it all just came to a head,” he shared with Us Weekly.
But after tying the knot in October 2024 during a whimsical White Iron Ridge ceremony officiated by his brother Steven, Jesse says married life feels grounded — even with the occasional chaos of filming and commuting.
Jesse McBee Shares New Details About Daughter Summer
The couple welcomed their daughter, Summer Leigh McBee, on April 17 — Alli’s 30th birthday — and Jesse says the 7-month-old is already keeping them on their toes.
“[Summer’s] doing great, growing like a weed every day,” Jesse said. “She’s starting to crawl around now, so she’s going to be a lot more to handle.”
He added that her personality is emerging quickly. “She’s getting her little personality, so she’s a little rat. Sometimes she’s funny, though.”
Jesse previously told People that the early weeks of fatherhood were “a whirlwind,” describing sleepless nights and steep learning curves. But watching Summer — and niece Blair Collins McBee, daughter of his brother Cole McBee and partner Kacie Adkison — grow has been a valuable guide.
“I kind of got to see the ups and downs of raising a baby… I’ve taken little pointers from Cole,” he admitted. “Which I wouldn’t normally do, but he’s done a really nice job.”
Jesse and Alli, high school sweethearts who first connected when Jesse messaged her after a basketball game, say they always envisioned building a big family.
“We want to grow together… babies, houses, careers,” Jesse shared. “We love our story.”
