Amanda Batula Has a Legendary Response to Reports She’s Not Living With Husband Kyle Cooke

When rumors surfaced that Amanda Batula and her husband, Kyle Cooke, might be living apart, many braced for drama.

Instead, Batula served up something different — a light-hearted, cheeky response that seemed designed more to diffuse tension than confirm speculation.

On her Instagram Stories on Sunday, Dec. 7, the Bravo star posted a short video that immediately turned chatter into comedy.

In the clip, Batula emerges from a child-size playhouse, wryly calling it her “new house.”

“Hey guys, it’s taken me a while to talk about this, but I just wanted to confirm the rumors that Kyle and I are living separately. This is my new house,” she told fans.

She jokes that it’s small, it’s about all she can afford, and yes — she even decorated it for the holidays.

“I decorated for the holidays, I’m really excited,” she added. “I could really use your support at this time and some privacy while we figure this out. Thanks so much.”

She ends the tongue-in-cheek reveal by asking for privacy and support while she and Cooke “figure things out.”

Then — in a perfect punchline — Cooke pops up at the door and starts to knock.

Batula asks who’s at the door, as Cooke responds “it’s your husband,” before adding “estranged.” The tone is playful, and the timing perfect.

Taking the High Road

Rather than addressing the swirling rumors with silence or defensiveness, Batula chose laughter.

The move felt intentional and gently mocking the speculation, but also refusing to let it define their private lives.

This isn’t the first challenge the pair has faced in public.

Over the past year, reports have described them as going through a “challenging time,” but noting that “both [are] committed to making the relationship work,” according to Us Weekly in November.

In that context, Batula’s video played like a breath of fresh air. It wasn’t a dramatic denial, but a reminder that reality and rumor aren’t the same thing.

The Couple’s Relationship Has Played Out on TV

And it will continue to play out, as the two are returning for Season 10 of the popular show. On Monday, Dec. 8, the teaser trailer for the new season dropped, giving fans a glimpse on what is the latest that went down in the Hamptons.

“Activating a summer like you’ve never seen before. Season 10 of #SummerHouse starts sending it on February 3rd!” the post read.
