Kyle Cooke Clears the Air with Honest Explanation After Season 10 Trailer Moment

Kyle Cooke is speaking out — and trying to clear the air.

After a dramatic claim from his wife, Amanda Batula, saying he spent the night at a fan’s apartment, Kyle issued an exclusive statement calling the allegation untrue.

Cooke gave a statement to PEOPLE on Tuesday, Dec. 9 and acknowledged that he did stay out late — but insisted that he never slept over at any fan’s home.

He explained that after a scheduled event Batula didn’t attend, he wandered into a bar and later an after-party, before dozing off on a couch early Friday morning.

“There’s no excuse for staying out as late as I did, but I want to be clear that I did not sleep at a fan’s apartment,” Cooke told the outlet. “I was at an event … which moved to a bar and then to an after-party.”

He added, “Do I regret the situation? Absolutely. But that’s the truth and full extent of what happened.”

The Backstory

The controversy stems from the teaser trailer for “Summer House” Season 10 — where Batula is shown telling castmates she believes Cooke slept at a fan’s apartment and returned home at 6:30 a.m.

Tensions — already simmering in previous seasons — flared as Batula expressed increasing frustration over Cooke’s late-night DJ lifestyle, while Cooke voiced feelings of being unsupported.

This latest revelation adds to what’s already shaping up to be one of the most turbulent seasons of the reality series yet.

Batula’s Response to Reports the Two Were Not Living Together

Rumors recently swirled that Cooke and Batula were no longer living together.

Batula decided to take to her Instagram Stories on Sunday, Dec. 8 and post a humorous response to recent reports.

She decided to show off a child-size playhouse and state that it was her new home.

“Hey guys, it’s taken me a while to talk about this, but I just wanted to confirm the rumors that Kyle and I are living separately,” she jokingly said. “This is my new house.”

Later in the clip, Cooke ended up knocking on the door of the playhouse and saying, “it’s your husband.”

Though the new season of “Summer House” is sure to showcase difficult moments, the two appear to be in good spirits.

Cooke Previously Dished on the New Season

While at BravoCon in November, Cooke opened up about how it was to film the latest season of the popular show.

During a mini meet-and-greet at a Bravopalooza session, he stated just how hard filming was.

“This was the toughest season, both personally and professionally,” he said at the event.

While Batula was not with him for this particular appearance, the two have been known to have a complicated relationship journey over the course of “Summer House.”

The two began dating during season 1, and later got married in season 6. The two have had their ups and downs over the years, including infidelity and disagreements on starting a family.

  1. He is my least favorite Bravo “star” I will never understand what his wife saw in him! She deserves so much better in life. Hope she moves on and has a family that doesn’t involve him.
