“Home Town” Season 10 Premieres January 4

In a December 2025 press release, Warner Bros. Discovery announced HGTV’s new and returning shows scheduled for January 2026.

“Home Town” is back, with season 10 premiering on January 4 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Ben and Erin Napier return for 16 new episodes of the fan-favorite show, featuring some special renovations.

According to the press release, “Ben and Erin makeover the maternity ward and waiting room of the local hospital, transform a house for Ben’s brother Jesse and his growing family, and remodel a home for a newly engaged couple who plans to host their wedding there.”

The season kicks off with “their largest ‘Home Town’ overhaul yet,” as they “fix up one of Laurel’s most well-known abodes for the homeowner who has lived there for over five decades.” It’s such a huge undertaking, the renovation will span two episodes.

“This season — which spotlights Retta’s hundredth hideous house tour — will kick off in the Great Plains, where she’ll explore an off-the-grid mish-mash house, a man-made metal monstrosity and a Rocky Mountain home at 7,100 feet overtaken by unexplained light switches,” the release notes.

“Neighborhood Watch” Premieres January 7

“Neighborhood Watch” is a new series premiering on January 7 at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT. This series gives an eye-opening look at home surveillance video that will “reveal the raw, unfiltered and sometimes shocking footage” captured.

  1. Seriously??? Home Town and Jasmine Roth are the ONLY shows left worth watching! Ugliest House is AWFUL. Cheap beach houses? Video surveillance? And you cancel Farmhouse Fixer? Married to real estate? THE PERSON MAKING THESE DECISION IS WHO NEEDS TO BE CANCELLED
    I will NOT be watching.

  2. I agree with above comments. The only good ones are the older ones such as Home Town, Fixer to Fabulous, Jasmine Roth. Ugliest House is awful, tired of anything with Property Brothers. These news one are terrible. Bring back Married to Real Estate and Bargain Block.

  3. Video surveillance? What a joke! I can’t believe you canceled great shows for this crap. Guess I’ll have time for some new Netflix/Prime shows.

  4. Won’t watch these new shows. How many cheap beach houses and ugly houses can you look at ? Bring back some of the fan faves, quit airing 10 year old episodes of House Hunter, and for heavens sake, get rid of the Thursday night movies. I can watch them on any number of channels.

  5. The new shows are a joke. Thursday night movie on HGTV???? Who is making these decisions. That person needs to be fired! Sorry to say that I won’t be watching HGTV except for a couple of the old shows.

  6. Haven’t been watching HGTV on a regular basis in a long time. They have lost sight of why people watch-to see good, relatable design that they can just maybe implement in their home, hosted by talented and pleasant people. Live the Scott brothers but enough is enough. They need to return to their design roots and stop hob knobbing with their celebrity friends. Please no more diva shows that include the likes of Alison Victoria or Christine whatever her last name is now and bring back the unsellable house twins and the couple from South Dakota who all have design talent that the average homeowner can relate to. Someone at the top at HGTV needs to open their eyes. And, agree, what is with the Thursday night movie?????
