Whether you know Teri Hatcher from “Desperate Housewives” or have seen her Hallmark movies — 2021’s “A Kiss Before Christmas” with James Denton and 2022’s “Mid-Love Crisis” with James Tupper — you surely know that she’s absolutely lovely. That remains true as the star celebrates her 61st birthday on Monday, December 8.
To mark the milestone, check out Hatcher over the past year:

GettyIn May, Hatcher made an appearance at the amfAR Gala Cannes 2025 in Cap d’Antibes, France. She looked like the star is she in a sleek black dress with a chic wavy bob.

GettyTeri Says Getting Older Is ‘Liberating’
When it comes to getting older, it might not be easy, but Hatcher says that it can be “liberating.”
“Aging is not for the faint of heart, especially in Hollywood,” Hatcher told People when she turned 55 in December 2019. “But I enjoy where I am. I feel strong, I feel good. It’s liberating!”
“I’ve raised my daughter [Emerson, 22], I’ve had hit shows, I’ve won awards,” she added. “And I don’t have to look at my career the same way. It’s liberating to take care of yourself and it’s liberating to care about the things that are important to you.”
Teri Recently Shared a Makeup-Free Selfie
Hatcher is one actress who likes to be real, which is why she took to Instagram on August 5 to share a selfie that showed her without any makeup on.
“Walking at sunset in that magical golden hour any Oscar-winning DP would chase, I got curious to see, what is the difference and should it matter,” she wrote in the caption.
“So, Here’s a no-filter shot of me facing the sun, and with it at my back,” she added. “Every line…a story of real human effort, successes & flaws. Feel free to zoom in. Is one angle more forgiving? More ‘beautiful’? How we frame beauty is everything — my perception?”
She continued by writing, “I choose gratitude for the time gifted in every wrinkle. I first put my naked face out there in 2010—everyone told me I was crazy but 15 years later, I’m still here, still saying it’s okay to be real. #GoldenHour #RealAndSpectacular”
