New Things Coming for 2026 Celebration
“Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” 2026 is going to be one for the record books. Besides having a huge lineup of performers, the country’s most-watched New Year’s Eve celebration will also have the first-ever live Central Time Zone countdown from Chicago.
Things will kick off in New York with the “American Idol” host, Seacrest, and his co-host Rita Ora. The party will continue through Las Vegas, Chicago, Puerto Rico, and beyond.
There will be dozens of performers taking the stage across multiple time zones. The party takes place on Wednesday, December 31, from 8:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m. EST on ABC.
Chance the Rapper, the former coach on “The Voice,” will lead the coverage in Chicago. NFL legend Rob Gronkowski returns to Las Vegas and will co-host alongside “Dancing With the Stars” co-host Julianne Hough. Details for the Puerto Rico celebration have not been released yet.
We will also be hitting milestones for this year’s telecast. It will be the longest in the show’s history, with an additional 90 minutes of programming scheduled.
