Aiming for a Major Goal: The Cover of Men’s Health
Roll has been open about his determination to keep going. During an appearance on his wife Bunnie Xo’s “Dumb Blonde” podcast in December 2024, he revealed his next goal.
“I wanna be on the cover of ‘Men’s Health’ by March of 2026,” he said. “That’s my new goal. I wanna have one of the biggest transformations.”
The artist explained that he’s never made such a public declaration before but feels motivated to keep pushing himself. “It’s the first time I’ve ever said that out loud,” he added.
From Food Addiction to Fitness Discipline
Roll’s journey has not been easy. The “I Am Not Okay” singer shared with People in November 2024 that his biggest challenge was overcoming food addiction.
He said he had to shift his mindset completely. “I had to change the way I looked at food for the last 39 years,” Roll explained. Growing up in Antioch, Tennessee, he said healthy eating habits weren’t part of his home life.
“Nobody in my house ever had [a healthy relationship with food], so that was the hard part, really fighting that demon at first and getting into that discipline and that commitment,” he said. “But once you get into that discipline and commitment, it’s like an avalanche. Once that little snowball started rolling, it was on its way.”

Roll has long been open about his struggles. In a 2018 Instagram post, he reflected on how far he’s come, recalling that in 2015 he weighed over 500 pounds. That realization sparked his first major transformation, during which he lost roughly 200 pounds.
