‘Real Housewives’ Stars Luann de Lesseps & Bronwyn Newport Set for NFL Halftime Show on Peacock

A healthy dose of cabaret and playful fashion are coming to Sunday Night Football thanks to The Real Housewives according to Deadline. Peacock, NBC Sports, and the NFL have teamed up for a sporty, campy twist on Sunday Night Football with the simulcast called “Reality Hot Seat” that will stream on Peacock and NFL+ on Sunday, Dec 7, at 8pm ET.

Who’s On the Panel?

The previously announced lineup is a spicy cocktail of Bravo royalty and raucous television personalities including: “The Traitors” competitor “Boston Rob” Mariano, “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star Heather Gay, TV host Justin Sylvester, and acerbic “Below Deck” alum Kate Chastain. Now, two fabulous housewives are getting in on the action: velvet-voiced OG Luann de Lesseps and the avant-garde Bronwyn Newport. Together, these personalities will narrate the game between the Houston Texans and Kansas City Chiefs with amped up energy and a bubbly, reality TV vantage point. TBD on whether Taylor Swift will make an appearance to support her fiancé and Chiefs tight end, Travis Kelce.

Top executives from Peacock Unscripted, Bravo, and NFL all agree that this is an entertaining, inventive way to capture a whole new audience as this program caters to both sports and reality fans alike.

What Will We See & Hear on Dec 7?

Get your ears primed and ready because the Countess herself, Luann de Lesseps will take center stage and perform during the “Reality Hot Seat” halftime spectacular. Her song catalog is stacked with such hits as: “Money Can’t Buy You Class,” “Feelin’ Jovani,” and “Chic C’est La Vie.” And while Luann plans to delight us all with her sultry vocals, Bronwyn — infamous for her outrageous looks, one of which being a hotdog ensemble, which is memorialized on her Instagram — will serve as a fashion correspondent, naturally. She’ll offer viewers her colorful opinion on all of the looks that grace our screen as the players arrive for their primetime game in their high-fashion, football best.

Joining them on the sidelines is recent addition, West Wilson from “Summer House,” who’s a die-hard Chiefs fan.

Fans of all types should anticipate a mix of enthusiasm, catty commentary, and, let’s be honest, housewives drama. The mix of Luann’s musical talents, Bronwyn’s fashion whimsy, and the unbridled personalities of the other panelists will surely ensure that this will be a night of football like none other.
