Whitney Leavitt Reacts To Earning the First 10s of DWTS Season 34

The pair performed a stunning Quickstep routine to “Popular” by Ariana Grande. The judges were impressed and scored Leavitt an incredible 39 out of 40. Only former DWTS pro dancer and current judge Derek Hough gave them a 9, which took away from what would have been an otherwise perfect score.

Leavitt and Ballas topped the leaderboard, along with Olympian Jordan Chiles and her professional partner Ezra Sosa. They also scored 39 out of 40. Still, it was Leavitt who brought out the 10 paddle first, a follow-on from her also scoring a nine first earlier in the season.

Leavitt has been having an incredible season, and she is a passionate and talented dancer. Photos from her performance were shared on the official “Dancing with the Stars” Instagram account. “No personality dialysis needed, Whitney and Mark’s #WickedNight Quickstep is very very popular in our eyes #DWTS,” the caption reads. The pair looked stunning in their baby pink outfits, and the comment section was flooded with reactions from fans eager to share their thoughts on the dance.

Some fans felt disappointed that their favorites didn’t also score 10s, but others thought this performance was exceptional.  “Did they deserve the 10s? yes definitely. did robert also deserve 10s? yes definitely,” a comment reads.

“It was a great dance! Deserved the 10s! She started this season, and she had a baby less than a year ago when this season started,” a comment reads. “She majored in contemporary in college 10 years ago, had 3 kids since then. She deserves it all! She improves every week! I hope she wins it all!”

Another fan also weighed in, writing, “Whitney’s entertaining, talented, athletic, and puts in serious work. Look back at past winners, she’s right in line with them and absolutely deserves her scores,” another fan shared.
