Hilary Duff has surely been busy making new music and working on a new show. However, she’s also taken time to mark a special occasion: Her birthday! The former star of Disney’s “Lizzie McGuire” has turned 38 years old and decided to hop onto Instagram to share some photos as part of the celebration. Among the pics of her friends and her birthday cake — which reads: “You’re so mature” — she popped up a few shots of her kids and husband.
Duff has four little ones: 13-year-old Luca, whom she shares with ex-husband Mike Comrie, as well as one-year-old Towne, four-year-old Mae James and six-year-old Banks Violet, whom she welcomed into the world with her current husband, Matthew Koma, according to People.
In the photos, you get a glimpse of Duff taking a selfie as well as her with her husband and children.
“This weekend I celebrated my birthday in the most perfect way,” she wrote in the caption. “With my favorite people – my husband, my kids, and some of my closet friends.”
“37 was a wonderful year but I’m kinda future trippin’ about my 38th year around the sun…,” she added. “Thank you for all the birthday wishes. Seeing your love and excitement for whats next is not lost on me. 🪩🍒✨”

Just because Duff is celebrating her birthday with friends and family, that doesn’t mean her fans don’t want in on the action. Indeed, they flooded her comments with birthday wishes.
“My favorite person to celebrate!!!! Love you n ur mature self 🤭🩷🩷,” one person wrote.

Duff Has Opened Up About Aging
GettyDuff may still be young, but she may also find herself reflecting on her age from time to time. For instance, she opened up about getting older during a chat at the Winter TV Press Tour 2015.
According to Deadline, a TV critic asked Duff, “As a woman, what is your feeling about aging and so you worry it will affect you career.”
Somewhat shocked by the question because she was only 27 at the time, she still took the time to answer. She explained, “My personal view on it is I hope as I age I continue to embrace it and enjoy what it brings to me.”
