Social Media Reviews are in For ‘Tron: Ares’
Critics have now seen the new ‘Tron’ movie, and they’ve shared their reactions on social media. One reviewer, Spooky Maddy, said, “Tron: Ares is one of the best Tron films by a landslide. Brilliant story and character moments. This is made with love. It sets up for BIG things to come in the most exciting way I seen since 2010. Bring your tissues, but not because it’s a sad movie.”
Daniel Baptista said of “Tron: Ares,” “THRILLING, pulse-pounding, and a VISUAL SPECTACULAR! The real star of the show is the mind-melting soundtrack by Nine Inch Nails, which methodically matches every moment. Story may be simple, but the IMAX experience more than makes up for it. We need to see a sequel.”
Jonathan Sim wrote, “Tron: Ares is extraordinary in every way. It fuses the tech of Tron with the real world to mind-blowing results. More practical stunts and more epic sci-fi action. A visual spectacle that must be seen in @IMAX. A non-stop, action-packed feast for the senses.”
Finally, Grace Randolph from Beyond the Trailer stated, “Tron: Ares checks all the boxes
it needs to & even a few more! STRONGLY recommend it in 3D – otherwise you’ll be distracted for most of the movie thinking ‘damn I should’ve seen this in 3D.’ I’ll share more of my thoughts when the review embargo lifts at 12 pm EST.”

The New ‘Tron’ Movie Has a Pretty Good Rotten Tomatoes Score
So far, “Tron: Ares” has a 57 percent rating on the Rotten Tomatoes platform. While this signals a mixed reaction from critics, it’s essential to acknowledge that many of them had positive things to say about the new “Tron” movie.
Liz Shannon Miller gave the film a positive review, saying, “TRON: Ares doesn’t seem poised to change the culture in anything resembling a similar way; while it has a lot more life to it than the inert TRON: Legacy, Ares keeps its focus on big spectacle as opposed to big ideas.”
Kate Sanchez wrote, “TRON: Ares is pure vibes, and I guess, in that way, it’s picking up the franchise’s legacy the only way you really can.”
