SEE a Sneak Peek at Robert Irwin & Witney Carson’s Cha Cha for Disney Week

Robert Irwin has been on an incredible journey on “Dancing with the Stars” Season 34. Not only are he and professional partner Witney Carson winning over the judges every week, but the wildlife conservationist is also a fan favorite and in with a fantastic chance of winning the Mirrorball Trophy. If he does, he will follow in the footsteps of his beloved older sister, Bindi Irwin, who competed on and won DWTS Season 21 alongside professional partner Derek Hough.

As we head into Week 4 with its fun Disney theme, there is a lot to be excited about, and Carson and Irwin have already given fans a sneak peek at what’s to come.

Robert Irwin Wins Over Fans With His Cha Cha

On Tuesday, October 7, all contestants will dance to songs from the Disney songbook. Irwin and Carson will perform a Cha Cha to “Try Everything” from “Zootopia.” In a video shared on Carson’s Instagram Story on October 6, Irwin revealed that “Zootopia” was one of his all-time favorite Disney films, alongside classics like “The Lion King” and “Mulan.”

Fans have been patiently waiting to see their performance, and now the wait is over: the pair shared a short clip of their Cha Cha on Instagram ahead of their stage performance, and it is incredible! “On tuesdays… we CHA-CHA! @dancingwiththestars,” the caption of Irwin’s post reads.

Fans have flooded the comment section with messages of support, and the video is only an hour old. “Robert said cha cha real smooth to the TOP,” a comment reads. “I’ve been cheering you on! I never watch DWTS before now! Lol,” another fan shared.

Other reactions include, “At this point just give them the mirror ball,” “I hope you Cha-Cha back to the top of the leaderboard!,” and “ZOOTOPIA X ROBERT IRWIN = PERFECTION.”

Robert Irwin’s Fans Think He Should Be the DWTS Winner

The clip highlights their moves for this evening, and it also shows that Irwin has learned the routine to near perfection. Earlier this week, Carson posted a video on her Instagram Stories, which Irwin shared on his account. It showed him messing up a move, and she playfully wrote in the text overlay on the video that it was his “worst nightmare.” Well, not anymore!

Fans are invested in Irwin’s DWTS performances, and he revealed in a Q&A posted on Carson’s Instagram Stories that the dances he is most looking forward to are the Argentine Tango and Contemporary. If he gets far in the competition, and it seems like he will, fans will be treated to these performances!
