“Dancing with the Stars” Season 34 celebrity contestant Jen Affleck has been delivering some incredible performances, and as the show heads into Week 4, fans are excited to see what she and professional dance partner Jan Ravnik will bring to Disney Night.
Jen Affleck Needs Fans’ Votes
The pair will perform a jazz routine to “Friend Like Me” from “Aladdin.” To help them stay in the competition, they need votes, and they have encouraged fans to vote by posting on Instagram on show day on Tuesday, October 7.
Affleck shared a photo of herself and Ravnik in rehearsals on her Instagram Stories. In the text overlay, she wrote, “Don’t forget to vote for me.” She later posted on Instagram, informing fans it was show time!
“It’s showtime don’t forget to vote!!” she captioned a video of herself and Ravnik, which shows off her beautiful princess-inspired costume. “Voting starts when the show begins and ends after the last dance of the night! 5pm PT/8pm ET to 7pm PT/9pm ET!! TEXT: “JEN” (10x times) to 21523.”
Votes are limited to ten votes per couple via text, and ten online at dwtsvote.abc.com. Voting begins at the start of the show and concludes after the final dance of the night.
Jen Affleck Gets Into the Disney Theme
Affleck is an incredible dancer and performer, but she’s also a new mom, having given birth to her third baby just three months ago. In an interview with Extra on September 30, she discussed competing on the show as a postpartum mama. “It’s been the best thing for me,” Affleck said. “I feel like if I wasn’t I would probably be dealing with the harder things like baby blues and postpartum depression. It’s honestly been a blessing.”
Ahead of Disney Night, Affleck also posted a sweet photo on her Instagram Stories of her newborn daughter Penelope dressed as Princess Jasmine.
On October 5, the star of “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” posted a short video on Instagram. It showed her having fun with the princess theme. In the clip, Ravnik pulls her on a dance mat, which she imagines is her very own magic carpet.
Fans found the video hilarious and reacted in the comment section. “I mean, you guys are the real life look alike of Jasmine and Aladdin,” a fan wrote. “This is amazing omg haha,” and “Ohhhhh girl im so excited.” Some people also insisted that the video was worth 10 points!
Affleck also got support from her “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” co-star and fellow DWTS Season 34 competitor, Whitney Leavitt. Leavitt commented on the video, writing, “This is incredible.”
