Disney darling Vanessa Hudgens has welcomed her second child just in time for the Christmas season. The “High School Musical” star announced she has given birth by posting an intimate photo from the hospital clutching the hand of her husband, former baseball shortstop Cole Tucker.
In the sweet snap, Hudgens wears an excited smile as she lies in a hospital bed hooked to an IV line with a pulse monitor on her finger.
“Well, I did it,” she announced, before going on to say, “Had another baby!!! What a wild ride labor is. Big shout out to all the moms. It’s truly incredible what our bodies can do.”
Hudgens announced her second pregnancy back on July 12 in a sweet maternity photo which she captioned, “Round two!”
Hudgens’ first child was born around early July 2024, per a People report. The outlet said the pair were spotted by TMZ leaving a Santa Monica hospital on July 3.

Thrilled fans filled the “Beastly” actress’s comments with loving congratulatory messages. One wrote, “SO SO SO proud of you my girl. Sending you and baby all my love . Asking for full protection for your family. My heart is so full !!!!! Literally dropped a tear. Happy happy happy for you.”
Hudgens’ “High School Musical” costar Monique Coleman, who played Gabriella’s best friend, Taylor, in the films wrote, “Congrats, angel. Love you!”
Hudgens’ husband, Cole Tucker, added a sweet and simple string of heart emojis on the photo.
Fellow Disney Channel star Aly Michalka, who is known for starring in “Phil of the Future” and being one half the beloved nostalgic band Aly & AJ with her sister, wrote, “Congrats, Vanessa! Super Mom vibes.”
Hudgens stepped out with Tucker for her last red carpet before giving birth on March 2, 2025 for the Vanity Fair Oscar Party.
