A beloved voice actor from a nostalgic Y2K-era hit cartoon has been fighting for his health in a hospital, according to reports. TMZ revealed on December 9, 2025 that Jeff Garcia (full name Jeffrey Garcia), who voiced the character of Sheen Estevez in the hit sci-fi comedy “Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius,” is currently in a Southern California hospital fighting unspecified ailments. The hospitalization comes just weeks after a previous admission around November 20 which resulted from a fight with pneumonia. Garcia, 50, recovered from that bout of pneumonia and was released within a few days, according to the outlet.

Garcia was a huge part of the “Jimmy Neutron” universe, lending his voice acting talents to both the original movie and the series, “The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius.”

Garcia is also a stand-up comedian. Last December, his fellow comedian Tony Holguin, who goes by @comedybytony on Instagram, shouted him out in a post after a Laugh Factory appearance, saying, “Last night was sick as always working with my brother Jeff Garcia. Me and the crew rocked a packed house at the Laugh Factory in Covina!”

In September, the star was photographed performing in Pasadena.
