Hallmark fans are eagerly awaiting the premiere of season 13 of “When Calls the Heart.” Several stars of the series recently shared big updates via social media that indicate that new season is one step closer to debuting.
Season 13 of ‘When Calls the Heart’ Is Done Filming
The “When Calls the Heart” cast has officially wrapped filming for season 13. Many of the cast members shared big smiles and sweet messages as they gave fans that update on social media and bid farewell to their colleagues for a while.
On October 28, Hutton shared a pair of adorable photos on her Instagram page. She wrote, “That’s a wrap on the Coulters season 13!”
A few days earlier, Hutton shared a photo on Instagram that showed her holding a coffee and looking rather worn out. She teased, “Almost at the finish line,” and added hashtags indicating there were two more days left of filming season 13 of “When Calls the Heart.”
Co-star Kavan Smith commented on the photos shared by Ellie Sweiss, who plays Goldie. “Year after year just getting more adorable and more fun.”
Jack Wagner also hyped the end of filming for “When Calls the Heart” season 13. On October 29, he posted a video on Instagram that showed him with most of the cast, everyone still dressed in character.
The caption read, “A Wrap in S13!! Thank you all so much for your support. You allow us to tell our Stories and bring life to ‘Hope Valley’ and the characters we get to play.”
There were lots of familiar faces in the video that Wagner shared, including Melissa Gilbert, who returns to season 13 playing Georgie McGill.
Hutton commented on Wagner’s post, “This is a chaotic end of season tradition! And I love it.” Wagner has shared similar videos to signal the end of filming in several earlier seasons as well.
A couple of commenters expressed their concern that they didn’t see Hallmark star Chris McNally in the video. For now, however, fans won’t have any answers regarding McNally’s status with the show.
Another fan gushed of the filming update, “One step closer to the release! I CAN’T WAIT.”
WCTH Stars and Fans Are Eager for Season 13 to Air
Erin Krakow, who has significant roles on “When Calls the Heart” both in front of and behind the cameras, also shared a sweet teaser via Instagram on October 28. “That’s a wrap on @wcth_tv Season 13! We’re proud, pleased, and pooped. That’s a lot of P words.”
She added, “Can’t wait to share this beautiful season with all of you!”
Kevin McGarry, who frequently teases his co-stars on their posts, commented, “We’re getting worse at hitting our marks.”
One fan took to the comment section on Wagner’s post and shared, “Congrats to all! I admit to not being too sure about this show after S12 ending, but I’m changing my thoughts. Looking good!”
That “When Calls the Heart” fan added, “Regardless; all of the hard work everyone puts into this series is very much appreciated and respected. Looking forward to seeing y’all on the screen.”
Oh Boy, I can’t wait until Season 13. I Love When Calls the Heart!! I’m a BIG Fan of these Great Actors & Actresses.
So far I’m not excited about S13 because there’s been little feedback about Chris McNally and Lucas. He’s why I watch. I hope they don’t try to pair him up with Edie as a consolation prize. It’s mainly TN fans pushing this because they want him off the market.
No, I think most Nathan fans like Chris and hope that his character gets a happy storyline filled with romance, and Edie could be a great match for Lucas.
Love this show and S13 with the incredible epic love story between Nathan and Elizabeth will be fantastic !!

Not sure if I will continue as I’ve heard it is
no longer on Peacock where I watched the first 12 seasons. I don’t want to subscribe to Hallmark to just watch one show. Please continue on Peacock.
